The Alamo Heights Dental Implant Center strives to provide a consistently exceptional and professional experience to every patient seen by our team to achieve and maintain optimal oral health, comfort, function, and esthetics. Your smile is intimately intertwined with your image and identity, as well as your systemic health.
Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment. We will complete an in depth medical and dental health history and a thorough examination to measure for bone loss, loose teeth, bite, conduct and oral cancer screening, evaluate the TMJ, and look for other signs of periodontal disease.
We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. We ask that for initial consultation appointments, you graciously arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork and registration. Please allow approximately 60 minutes for your initial visit. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
In most cases, gum disease (periodontal disease) involves slow, progressive loss of bone around your teeth that is not painful and that patients may not notice. A comprehensive clinical exam will allow us to inform you of options to ensure your dental and systemic health are optimized, or to determine if treatment is recommended.

I had a great experience with Alamo Heights Implant Center! I had a crown lengthening procedure done and I was nervous at first but Dr. Walker and his team made everything feel very comfortable and the whole process ran smoothly. I like the fact that they are very fast, efficient, friendly, easy to contact even when they are closed, and even gave me a student discount because i go to UTSA which is so nice. And now I have a nice smile too! I will definitely be recommending them to others!

I just had Crown Lengthening Surgery done with Dr. Walker a couple of weeks ago and everything about my experience was way more than I could have asked for. I'm not crazy about having my teeth worked on and I was so apprehensive about my surgery, but I knew I really wanted a change in my smile. I was always insecure about how little my teeth were as I was growing up and I didn't even know I could get it fixed until a little while back. Dr. Walker and his office staff were great. The whole implant process was well laid out and completed without any problems. Care was seamlessly coordinated with my primary dentist. Dr.Walker did an awesome job! After 2 weeks I could finally drink cold drinks after avoiding them for years. The staff are all so friendly and answer the phone so quickly everytime I called. I was worried about something a few days after surgery and they were more than happy to take a look to make sure everything was healing correctly. Would recommend him and his staff to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Walker and his staff are all very friendly, fast, and efficient. I am always in and out of there with almost no waiting around. I had a crown lengthening procedure done and it went very smoothly. I was very nervous but everyone at this office made me feel a lot better about everything. Dr. Walker is also very quick to respond to text messages when I had questions about after care. My experience with Dr. Walker and his staff was incredible and seamless. I would recommend it to anyone looking for periodontal care. I’m a young guy and was dealing with gum recession in a few teeth. I went it for a gum graft procedure and was very nervous about what that entailed. I had crown lengthening done with Dr.Walker and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! His staff was incredible answering all my questions and concerns making the entire process seamless. I really appreciated Dr.Walker taking his time discussing the process of treatment and putting my nerves as ease. This is one of the best dental experiences I have ever had!
