Alencon's String Power Optimizers and Transmitters (SPOTs) are the most powerful DC-DC optimizers for utility scale PV applications found on the market today. Each SPOT has up to four (4) inputs and can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 8 strings. Each input offers its own maximum power point tracker (MPPT) assuring you achieve the highest level of energy production from your PV array for the minimum amount cost.
Alencon's Bi-Directional DC-DC Optimizer for Storage Systems, the BOSS, is a unique solution for incorporating Solar and Storage using either AC or DC Coupled topologies. The BOSS enables the granular control of charge and discharge of individual battery racks with a patent pending, galvanically isolated approach.
Alencon's Grid Inverter Package - the GrIP - is a 10MW central PV inverter, the largest available on the market today. The GrIP uses Alencon's Patented Harmonic Neutralization technology to shatter the barriers of price, reliability, efficiency and size of traditional PWM-based PV inverters.
With a rugged, sealed enclosure, liquid-cooled components, heavy duty copper buses, and no moving parts or any type of electrolytic component, the GrIP assures dependable operation in all climates.The GrIP offers 99%+ efficiency in a very compact footprint. Four GrIP modules are packaged in single, integrated outdoor rated container, offer a compact design and faster installation and maintenance.

Alencon's Ground Arc and Rapid Disconnect unit, the GARD, is a unique solution for detecting harmful arc and ground faults in your PV array at the string level. The GARD also offers the ability to rapidly and safely disconnect PV strings with either a mechanical switch or remote command. The GARD can be deployed as a standalone device or in conjunction with Alencon's String Power Optimizer and Transmitter - the SPOT.
Alencon's Communications Environment, the ACE, is an Internet of Things (IoT) hardware and software solution for controlling and monitoring your alternative energy assets. It can be used in conjunction with other Alencon products including the SPOT, GARD and BOSS to communicate the status of PV strings or battery racks.
