Halfmoon Campground

The lady that runs that campground I believe her name was Charlotte was absolutely wonderful and so kind. Very nice camp and neat and clean. I don't ever camp but if I did on the regular I would definitely want it to be in one like this. Highly recommend. You will not be let down.

This place is the best and CANNOT be beat. The owners are so polite, kind, and hospitable. We will not stay anywhere else when we come up here! Campsites and cabins are everything you could want and more. And access to the trails is spot on! We love Halfmoon Campground!

Amazing get away spot. Side by side, ATV, or mountain biking? This is the spot to stay! Bring your camper or tent or just stay in one of their cabins. You will not regret this decision

This is a hidden gem. First off, the owners are just great people with a ton of knowledge and experience about the area and Windrock Park. I cannot say enough goodness about them. The bathroom is really clean. One of the nicest camp bathhouses I have ever been in. We did not stay in cabins, but they look newer and in great condition. We stayed in the tent camping area, in site 14. Provided garbage can and grill at site. Easy back way access into Windrock. A+. I cant wait to go back.

Very nice campground! Trail access to windrock! Clean and nice shower house. Owners friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay here again when I come back to windrock.

This is a good place to stay at, its cozy and it comes with a bathroom and shower. It has a microwave and refrigerator and sink no stove but there is a small grill outside. Friendly staff too they come by in the morning to collect payment.

Very nice place to stay, RV spots have water and electricity and are back in /pull in style. There is a bath house with restrooms ... Camp ground host are great!
Out in the country .. quiet .. a must place to stay !!!

This is a cute family-owned Campground nestled between the mountains along a creek. It is the perfect size. Not too large and not too small. They even have a number of cabins available. While it is off the beaten path it is not too far from the grocery store and a 3-minute four-wheeler ride to Windrock. Definitely a quiet place when you need to get away from the crazy world😍
