Ducharme Funeral Home was established in June of 2002 by Walter Ducharme The new 3600 square foot modern, spacious, one level, handicapped accessible facility offers the latest in funeral home services. We are located in the former Castleton Medical Center on route 4A and offer one of the largest viewing rooms in the area and convenient on site parking.

We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. Staff members of Ducharme Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Walter Ducharme, graduated in 1999 from Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science and is fully licensed in the state of Vermont.

The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff, local transfer of the decedent from the place of death to our funeral home/crematory, the burial transit permit, medical examiner permit, and the cremation fee.
