Services
Jade and Cinnabar Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine was created with a goal of helping patients restore their physical, emotional and spiritual health and vitality, and prevent future illness through the power of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in a transformative environment where holistic medicine is practiced with deep respect, thoughtfulness, integrity and compassion, in a way that allows true healing at the core level to take place.
From the point of view of Oriental Medicine, diet and lifestyle are considered the cornerstone of good health and well-being.

A balanced diet, consisting of a variety of fresh, seasonal, unprocessed foods eaten calmly and mindfully, and at regular intervals throughout the day and a lifestyle embracing the right balance of physical and mental activity, relaxation and rest, are crucial to maintaining vitality and preventing illness from taking root.
Sports injuries can occur for a variety of reasons, and they usually fall into two general categories: The first type is an acute injury due to trauma or impact, like a sprain, strain, contusion or a fall, while the second involves overuse or chronic injury over a period of time, usually as a result of repetitive movement or activity, such as running, overhand throwing, or serving a ball in a game of tennis or golf.
The median nerve travels from your forearm into the hand through a small canal or opening in the wrist - "the carpal tunnel". The bottom and sides of this canal are formed by bones, while the top of the canal is covered by a ligament. Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve is compressed or squeezed as it passes through this opening into the wrist.
Women's bodies are complex. From puberty to menopause our physical and mental well-being are greatly influenced by our monthly hormonal fluctuations. The reproductive system influences and is influenced by other aspects of your physiology, meaning the menstrual cycle both affects and is affected by changes in your general health and your emotional health.

I began looking around for relief from my neck pain. It went from bad to worse where I was in such extreme pain that I knew I needed something other than drugs. I chose Vicky because she was also knowledgeable in Oriental medicine. I was a mess. Besides my neck I had digestion issues. I was scared because like all of us putting a bunch of needles into your body does not sound appealing. However, pain makes you try anything. I went to see Vicky and almost immediately my pain subsided. I was extremely stressed and I had incredible pain in my legs and I also started getting arthritis in my hands.

Vikki treats the the whole person, not just the symptom you are having. She cares deeply about her patients and her profession and it shows from your very first visit when she takes the time to talk with you and assess you and your medical history. I have been attending Jade & Cinnabar for over a year now and Vikki's expert acupuncture has helped heal my neck and hip pain. She also helped me with an emergency when my leg just seized up over a day and I was unable to sit or walk without pain. Within a ONE one hour visit I felt relief! She is amazing and I cannot offer a higher recommendation! She

IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE VICKY 10-STARS, SHE IS A MIRACLE WORKER!
In April 2018, I was going through a very stressful time in my life. I experienced stress and anxiety, and looking back on it, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Being the healthy person that I am, I wanted to find a healthy means to help myself during this scary time. I constantly felt "sick" from the stress, and didn't have the energy to run, my stress reliever. After researching, I found Jade & Cinnabar Acupuncture and VICKY! Speaking to Vicky for the 1st time on the phone, cramming in my life story to her, I immediately

I have been battling chronic tendinitis in my arm for more than 6 years, mostly the results of too much computer work. When buying ergonomic mice and keyboards while adjusting my posture wasn’t enough, I tried every remedy western medicine offers. After visiting orthopedist specialists, neurologists, and vascular specialists then going through physical and massage therapies, the pain persisted. I tried other alternative treatments like rolfing and intensive stretching regiments. For me, the combination of acupuncture and herb therapy is a better physical remedy for the most relief. I also prefer

Vickie is the best! Kind, patient and very warm. She always makes me feel special.
I first went to Vickie for a painful shoulder and arm, probably tendinitis, from too much computer, texting and knitting. During Vickie’s very patient intake on my first visit, I happened to mention that my neck hurt, too, but of course I didn’t expect her to treat both at the same time. To my surprise she said she certainly could. And she did! My neck
pain almost completely disappeared after the first visit and is now non-existent. The arm and shoulder have taken longer but are on their way to also disappearing

My 14 year old son plays basketball at a highly competitive level. He was suffering from intense heel pain and was unable to practice for over a week. With only one day before a major tournament, I decided to take him to see Victoria at Jade and Cinnabar. She took the time to fully understand his symptoms and his health history. She then proceeded with acupuncture and within 30 minutes his pain had significantly subsided. By the end of the 60 minute session he was completely pain free and was able to play in his tournament that weekend without issue.
The office is clean and Victoria is very accommodating

I started going to see Vicky for acupuncture treatments about a year ago, and I can not say enough good things about her. She is knowledgeable, caring, and all around a fantastic practitioner. She is so good, that I travel an hour to get to her office even though there are countless other offices closer to my home. On top of how great she is, she has a fantastic office. It is clean and updated, which make for a very welcoming and relaxing space. I am so thankful that I was able to find her.

I started going to Vickie for acupuncture a couple years ago for stress and anxiety related to a number of things going on in my life. At the time, I felt like I had lost control of myself and that I was stuck in a life that made me so unhappy. I was looking for someone to help get me out of my "funk" emotionally. I had gone to other acupuncturists previously, but somehow Vickie offered something different and more valuable. Within only a few sessions with Vickie, I started to notice changes in my outlook on life. I can honestly say that she helped me gain the courage to resign from a job I was
