What is so hard for the staff to satisfy the customer!?
I asked the cashier and cooks to make my bolillo warm for my torta that I ordered. Making this purchase a routine purchase and asking for it, on the third time and not getting it, made me do this review. It is not satisfying to unwrap your food and see that it was not made as your request.

I been coming to La Plaza Bakery over years already i love their chicken Milaneza it's always bomb🔥🔥never has it dissapoint me. On the other hand today when i went to pick up my order around 5:10-5:15 if im precise I don't know if it was the Boss or manager i really dislike how he was rude to his workers he didn't care if customers were their was giving them attitude to the extend that a customer was waiting for his order & he gave the customer attitute & told him to move out the way 😠 to follow the distancing which he was really distant while he wasn't even wearing the MASK ON THE RIGHT

If you seek real Mexican cuisine then this is the place locayed in West Ridge Salinas.
There are 2 other locations that I know of. One on the East side of Salinas and one in Soledad.

This place is great! I don't know why it has 3 stars. Picky people I guess. They have the friendliest staff who get out your order quick. The bakers get up at 2:30 am to bake the many dozens of pastry options plus cakes. I always get a breakfast burrito and they are delicious! Love this little bakery gem. It's always packed so you know it's good!

Great food and a large pastry selection! The restaurant itself is clean and cheerful, and the staff is helpful and friendly.
The shopping center however is filthy. Lots of derelicts. Garbage all over the sidewalk, stepped over a condom in the parking lot. Did not feel safe walking to my car and was glad I had someone with me.

When I lived in Salinas I would come here often.
Its been a few years since I have been here, I was in town and and HANGRY so I thought I would stop by on my way back to the Bay.
Nothing has changed (thankfully) as you walk in to your left is the bakery area, traditional hand made mexican bread (pan dulce) everything you can imagine is prepared daily and baked. The smell of the FRESH pan dulce makes you want to order everything!!
As you walk in further you see the Burrito station! Staff is there to greet you and make your burrito wishes come true LOL. They also make tacos and offer other foods

The food here is so good! We went here while visiting family in the area and everyone was pleased with their meals! I got the huevos rancheros and it was so yummy! However they do not do the eggs over easy. It comes scrambled with a delicious salsa. La plaza is casual and the workers are friendly. You can walk in and enjoy a great meal or take it to go! If you go here be sure to get the fresh corn tortillas and fresh pan!

So the husband and I stopped by on a Saturday after lunchtime because he was craving something sweet. We always pass by La Plaza Bakery and never come in, so we figured today would be a good day to finally try it out.
The inside of the bakery is clean and spacious. Pastries are displayed in large glass display cases right when you walk in. Surprisingly, there is also a deli section where you can get things like breakfast burritos and tacos! I will be sure to review these items when I come back to try them out.
