Preston Nelson has a passion for real estate. Ever since he can remember, something about it has intrigued him. Originally a loan officer, Preston left to pursue a legal degree, with the intention of focusing on real estate law.
While at Elon Law, Preston was a member of the Innocence Project, volunteered for VITA (which provides free tax preparation for low income families), and Legal Aid of North Carolina, focusing specifically in the areas of housing and foreclosures.Since graduation, Preston has been privileged to assist people on a daily basis with some of the most significant transactions of their lives.

We emailed Mr. Nelson to ask if we could set up a time to meet in order to go over title information on a property we were trying to purchase. We asked what his fees were and since the fees were higher than other companies we decided not to meet and never agreeed to the fees or services. We also never received a title report. Today, randomly, we received a bill for $225, the day after Christmas! We never met with Mr. Nelson, never received or agreed to any services (verbal or written). This is poor business practice and also feel that, as a lawyer, Mr. Nelson has poor ethics.

Nelson Law Firm, PLLC is an awesome firm, one of the best in the Triad for real estate transactions for sure! They are dependable, communicate effectively and work quickly and promptly to close your deal. We always have a smooth transaction when using them and if there are any tittle issues or things of that nature they communicate well and help to resolve such issues in a timely manner.

We have closed 100s of investment transactions between Charlotte Metro and the Triad. We've used various attorneys but Nelson Law has been the best by far. He is quick and effective when it comes to closing transactions, especially investor closings. Unlike other attorneys he actually does his job without us having to consistently follow up and do their job for them. If you're an investor you know how time consuming title work and coordination can be. There's no fluff at all, it's just down to business which is how we like it. He communicates effectively and actively reaches out for assistance

Let me first start off by saying, i did NOT CHOOSE this firm it was recommended by my agent. Also this was the purchase of our 2nd home so we definitely weren't new to closing attorney's and didn't know how good we had it the first time around until we met preston! We actually were selling our home and purchasing a new one and preston was the closing attorney for both deals. While selling our home he was surprised we came to the closing which i wanted to review the documents which was NOT sent to us before hand. We were shorted a $1000 for earnest money because the sellers had switched closing
