This is one of the BEST thrift stores. At least half my closet is probably from Carolina Thrift. The store is organized by clothing type and size, so there's no need to sort through the whole store to find what you're looking for. They have some of the best prices I've seen, and to top it off they have sales everyday. The staff is also really friendly.

Updated 11/22/21 I was in line today waiting around 3:35pm. I was next when cashier with green shirt said she was closed. Then started sitting down & counting her money. This was very disrespectful. Shortly after started ringing up another customer. Cashiers there are so rude & causing them to lose business. I reported her to a manager. Then another rude & unhelpful big tall black lady cashier came up to the cashier ringing me up, asking her what's wrong. I will not be back. Fyi; This store is also closed Wednesday for cleaning.

Their hours are inaccurately listed. They close at 5:45, and they’re very rude about it. I pulled in at 5:44, and as I was getting out of my car, they yelled at me from the door that they were closed. I expressed confusion since their online hours say 6, and they offered no apology or explanation. Just said, “Nope, we’re closed” and slammed the door. This makes the store useless to anyone who has a typical 9-5 job. What I needed would’ve taken 5 minutes tops, but I didn’t even get a chance to explain that. Beyond that, this is a poorly maintained store even by thrift store standards

Large thrift store, formerly on Wendover Ave. Not easy to find, the store entrance is not visible from the road, and is to the left rear of the Harbor Freight tools complex. As with most thrifts, Carolina Thrift’s selection is hit or miss, but there is generally a large selection of women’s clothing and shoes, and housewares/decor items. There is a decent amount of men’s clothing as well, but selection is not near quantity of women’s clothing. Children’s clothing is overwhelmingly girls. It’s a fun browse. Staff members are nice. Restrooms are scary. Interior photos are prohibited.
