Summer Springboard was founded to give college-bound teens a supportive environment where they can explore their personal and academic passions.
As one of America's oldest cities, Boston is home to the most prestigious universities-Harvard, MIT, Tufts, and more! We leverage resources from top institutions to create an elite learning experience at Simmons University. Students will also hear from guest speakers and industry experts from Harvard.
Are you interested in medicine, science and technology? Is your goal to create a life saving drug? This is a unique opportunity for high school students to gain real exposure and hands-on experience working in a biotechnology lab utilizing state of the art equipment.
The goal of this program is to provide students intensive laboratory skills experience, and to understand fundamental chemical processes common in prokaryotic and eukaryotic biology, and classical and molecular genetics with an emphasis on gene expression and genetic engineering.The biotechnology industry draws from a variety of different specialties, with microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, and I.T. all having a significant impact.

This program gives you a 360 degree view of the medical and healthcare field through immersive learning and hands-on projects. In the first week, students will learn how to take vital signs and perform CPR. They will also work on key wilderness medicine techniques and visit a simulation lab where med students and faculty are trained and evaluated.
Uncover the mystery of how the mind works, and examine the connection between the brain and human behavior. Develop solutions to the complex questions of human behavior through hands-on activities such as a brain dissection and real-world experiments. Understand treatment strategies for a variety of mental health issues that affect millions of individuals.

It’s that time of year when decisions are made about summer programs, and if you are considering Summer Springboard, I would highly recommend making it a top choice! My daughter attended last summer at UC Berkeley and her experience in the program was superb! It really impacted her on both personal and academic levels. From the people she met, to… her class and instructor, to the excursions, to the True You curriculum, everything was top notch and we were just so pleased with the amazing experience she had. Summer Springboard is an absolutely amazing program and I highly recommend it. It has taught me many things, not only my track course, but about myself and how to be successful. I was in the Technology and Innovation track and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. This program is life changing and worth while with an open mind. I'd like to thank Dianna and the rest of the Summer Springboard team for making my time at Yale special and memorable. I'd also like to thank my incredible track instructor, Mr.Tynes.
