Services
Dr. Garett and Dr. Haley Roop moved to Durango, CO in 2017 from Manhattan, KS. They searched for three years to find a place that had a strong community filled with local businesses and a place where they could enjoy the outdoors. Before moving, Dr. Garett had a practice in Manhattan, KS serving families, Kansas State University Athletics, as well as professional athletes.
Chiropractic care is a form of health care that is non-invasive. The body was designed to heal on its own and Chiropractic care helps one to stay healthy without interventions. The nervous system controls every cell, muscle, tissue and organ in the body. Chiropractic care involves making sure the nervous system is functioning at it's highest level so that one can stay healthy and live life to the fullest.
High blood pressure can be a dangerous condition as those who have it typically do not display symptoms. While those with high blood pressure may not experience any pain or discomfort, their condition could still be life-threatening. Here at Pathfinder Chiropractic, we are proud to provide services to best identify and address this issue in our patients.
Dr. Garett had a herniated disc at the age of 17. He continued to play sports and the pain got so severe that he could not even lift his leg up off the ground. He had partial discectomy surgery to remove the disc material that was placing pressure on his nerve root. After the surgery we was still experiencing limited range of motion and discomfort.

Amazing staff and service! Always kind and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. My neck and lower back have improved since starting my care. I can mountain bike and hike without any pain. I am also sleeping a lot better!! I highly recommend Pathfinder. They are the best staff and chiropractic care in Durango!

Pathfinder Chiropractic has been a pregnancy LIFESAVER. I started regular appointments during my first trimester with difficult back pain which has almost completely disappeared since. I feel confident going into the final month of pregnancy with a well-positioned baby and strong body. So thankful for the Pathfinder team.

They are willing to go above and beyond to understand your issues and how to best resolve them. Very caring and flexible. Scientific with proven results. I used to see a manual therapy (physical manipulation and popping.) chiropractor and never felt i was stabilizing. Like i was very codependent on seeing them constantly. I would turn my head the left and crack, crack, crack, turn to the right again crack, crack, crack. I just felt too loose.
The activators speak in the language/frequency of your spine and nerves. It is more

I have not felt this good during the entirety of my adult life. I started treatment at Pathfinder just over a year ago for injuries caused by a rock climbing accident that resulted in a ground fall from around 20’. I work in restaurants and don’t have health insurance so, the injuries went unchecked for nearly a year before pain became an issue. I went in there physically and financially broken, during a pandemic, just to get a doctors note and some x rays so I could get a couple days off work to rest. My son and I have been going here for the past year and I truly love it! My pain is gone, I sleep better, I have more energy.. definitely a God send. My son's posture has improved, as well as his sleeping habits. He feels better doing everyday things. Family oriented, down to earth, and caring practice! They went above and beyond to treat us firefighters to lunch one day and that same care has been provided in the office making sure I’m always at my best.

They really listen to your concerns. Help you understand your body and what's going on. I have been told by orthopedist that there is really no hope because I smoke. Here I am not judged against my bad habits. They are more concerned with you and your pain. my last visit was the treatment, I woke up this morning able to get out of bed. I was sore but is was a good sore. Can't wait for the next visit. Awesome place to be.

The Docs and the staff are great. I have been seeing them a little over a year now. I have not posted anything because I have been enjoying feeling better and have not made time to do so. As it goes I have… struggled with many issues of injuries and wear and tear on my body and they have put me back to gather so I could enjoy life again.
