Orthodontic benefits may be part of your dental policy. If you have dental insurance, we will verify benefits and submit claims for you as a courtesy. Any unpaid balance by insurance would become your responsibility. There are different levels of benefits. Typically, orthodontic benefits have a lifetime maximum which is separate from dental benefits.
When it was time for my three children to start orthodontic treatment, it was an easy decision to have Dr. Kevin Wilke treat them. I was so pleased with both Dr. Wilke and his staff that I decided to have adult orthodontic treatment as well. Dr. Wilke was realistic in what he could accomplish for me and my children, and the timeline it would take.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that most children should have an orthodontic screening by age 7. This enables Dr. Kevin Wilke to determine if orthodontic treatment will be required and the best time for the patient to be treated. Many of the dentists in our community have been trained to identify orthodontic problems early and may refer you to our office earlier than age 7.

Kevin Wilke has provided orthodontic care to all six of our children and to myself a second time as an adult. Each case for our children grew more complex, but each time a treatment plan was worked out that was best for that individual child. At one point we had three of us in orthodontic care at one time and his office worked with us to create a payment plan that worked for our insurance plan and our budget. Our largest testimony in this review is the heart of Dr. Wilke. Our youngest daughter was diagnosed with DuChennes Muscular Dystrophy at age 12. He worked with her team at Children’s Hospital

Wilke Orthodontics saved my family vacation. We were going out of town and my son broke a bracket. We were able to get him into the office early the next morning, before it was even open, so that they could reattach it. That way he didn't even have to miss a class and we were able to leave as we had planned. Honestly, they are all-around great.

My son needed some braces and we didn't know who to go to. Off our dentist's recommendation, we found Dr. Wilke and are very pleased. If you want someone with experience and skill at caring for your child during an unpleasant process such as getting braces, you should go here. Dr. Wilke is a tremendous orthodontist.
