The Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center is a physician-owned and operated medical spa in Pittsburgh. Known for our wide breadth of state-of-the-art technologies, personalized service, results-oriented treatments and holistic approach to skincare, we help you not only look your best but also feel your best.
However, if you're traveling to see us or have traveled to any of these states for vacation, we are following state guidelines and ask that you self quarantine for 14 days before your appointment for your safety and ours. If you need to reschedule, please call the office at 412-683-3358 as soon as possible to allow another patient to fill our limited appointments.

As the only medical spa in Pittsburgh offering a holistic approach to medical aesthetics, we are very discerning of any products and devices we choose to offer. You can count on us to safely and comfortably deliver results as our office follows a tradition of continuous education based on medicine, science and technology.
The process begins with your phone call or online request to schedule an appointment. You will meet with Dr. Barad or one of our Licensed Medical Aestheticians based on the service you choose for an in-depth consultation. A credit card is required to be placed on file to complete the booking process.

I trust Dr.Barad with my face and eyes explicitly. I had cataract surgery which has been a game changer and professionally done. I have also had skin care treatments from her staff at Aesthetic Skin & Laser. I believe in non-surgical treatments and they have the best choices and equipment and know what they are doing. Doctor Barad is an opthamologist and has the hands of an artist and training of the best. You get a lot of skill in every treatment, she does what most places leave to their staff. Staff is great also and warm and friendly

Wanted to get some hair removed. Had various worries because a lot of these places give a "predominantly female glorified beauty spa" vibe, and I am very much male with very thick, stubborn hair in some undesirable places, so I expected stigma and inadequate tooling. Turns out none of that matters to the laser, nor to the technicians at ASLC. This was all quite straightforward and not even awkward. I felt very welcome the whole time, and the results are looking good so far. The treatment is relatively expensive, but no matter what you are after, there's a $10K ceiling, as they offer an unlimited

I have been having laser hair removal treatments for close to twenty years. I am so glad that I have found Shana at ASLC. They have a new laser, the Clarity II, which is the best laser for hair removal I have ever experienced. The lasers from even just last year don't compare this new one! Erin and Mary at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. This is a great practice and I am so glad that I started coming here. Thank you!

Critical: Professionalism
I was willing to drive two hours to this location for a procedure that is not done in my area. I called the office twice to ask a few questions in hopes of setting up an appointment. Both times I was told that they would call me right back, but I never got a phone call both times. I waited for three days and nothing.

I'm very happy with the service that I received, from the initial phone call to checking out was a pleasant experience. Dr. Barad is very informative and knowledgeable about the different procedures available and what will work best for your particular needs.
I'm a first time Botox and filler patient and she made me feel comfortable and at ease prior to and during the procedures. I highly recommend her for your cosmetic needs.

I want to say thank you to all the ladies at Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center. Initially I was incredibly nervous going in, asking myself every question, and trying to talk myself out of doing it. The technician sat down with me and answered all my questions until I relaxed. We then went into the examination room. In the first session, I did undress with the technician in the room, however, I explained at the next session that I was not comfortable doing that, and from that point forward, a robe would be on the table waiting for me as the technician would leave the room and come back a few minutes

First off, Mary deserves 5 stars alone for being the best in her position (I believe she is the office manager?). Love her! Secondly, I don't live in Pittsburgh and money fluctuates, so I call to make appointments with very little notice and Mary manages to squeeze me in when it suits my schedule. Thirdly, Julie is an excellent aesthetician and I have experienced about 10 in my lifetime with at least 5 being my regular for a few years. I will be back in April and will be booking! There are A LOT more services available, definitely check out their website!
