I had been banded in 2005. It had completely failed me to the point of causing horrible reflux and heartburn. Dr. Mehta recommended I have the band removed and revised to a Gastric Bypass. He and his whole staff have been nothing but professional, friendly and helpful. Except for when Dr. Mehta fussed me for an issue on the day of surgery (October 6th, 21) that I deserved.;). Any issues or delays I experienced had more to do with my insurance company than the Doc or staff. Dr. Mehta performed the band removal, fixed a hiatal hernia, removed by gall bladder with stones and revised it all to a Gastric

Terrible! They do not call patients back. Took me over 2 weeks and that was because I had left a bad review and she wanted me to take it down. Thank goodness, I did not have the surgery with them, my best friend did and has been hospitalized every 2 weeks since the surgery and the office pretty much wrote her off since the surgery. She said they do not return her calls or help with her post surgical care at all! So unprofessional. SO GLAD I CHOSE ANOTHER PLACE!

I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery in Jan. 1, 2014. Dr. Scarborough performed my surgery. Afterwards, I barely had any pain or discomfort. Could not believe it. I would tell anyone to GO FOR IT! I have lost over 100 lbs. I feel like a brand new person. My health is so much better. Thank you Dr. Scarborough and staff!!!

I started since January meeting with the doctor virtually did all my classes until April then was told my surgery would be scheduled 2 to 3 weeks away. However the staff at this facility was slow in following up and was unable to book and scheduling my surgery prior to my new insurance kicking in I waited an additional two months after chasing them down to give me an answer to tell me that I can no longer go through the other insurance that I had to use my new insurance which did not approve me. What a complete waste of my time and months of energy. I could’ve gone through another facility and

I had surgery in December, the whole process was so easy and mostly virtual for safety purposes, which I appreciated. I had excellent pain management and never felt any pain over a 2 or 3. The whole experience has been very easy and better then I could of ever expected! Would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Sherman Yu!

I think TLC is a great selection for weight loss surgery. The follow up care has been wonderful. If I have any questions or issues; I can usually get an answer or resolution on the same day. My surgeon was Dr. Scarborough and he did an excellent job on my procedure. I would highly recommend their facility for weight loss. The journey is not easy but well worth it.

Dr. Scarborough was my surgeon and he is amazing. I had the gastric bypass and I'm so happy and losing weight. I'm a month out surgery was Dec 8th 2020 and I'm already down 47 pounds. The tool they have given me is a blessing and I'm happy and can't wait to see where my future goes.
