We have been serving our community with pride for five generations, celebrating 150 years, since 1868. We offer our families many choices to help honor the life of their loved ones and we will take the time to plan every detail to help relieve the burden on your family during your time of loss. A key feature of our website is that we offer a listing of the obituaries for the families we serve.
This is our business. You can be assured that we take great personal pride and we are devoted to making our funeral home the best it can be by satisfying the needs of the community and the families we serve. There are many good reasons. Some plan ahead because there may be no one who is capable of making your decisions.

This is our business. You can be assured that we take great personal pride and we are devoted to making our funeral home the best it can be by satisfying the needs of the community and the families we serve. We are also proud of our staff who regularly pursue continuing education to maintain the highest level of professional services.
There are many good reasons. Some plan ahead because there may be no one who is capable of making your decisions. Others have definite preferences and want their families involved in making decisions with them. Most importantly, pre-arranging lets you make rational decisions ahead of time instead of hasty, emotional choices that may be made at the time of need.
From Pittsburgh: Take Route 28 north to Route 8 north. When on Route 8, turn left at the first traffic light, go across the railroad tracks, and turn right. Our funeral home will be approximately two miles on the right. From Route 28 (North of Etna): Take Route 28 south toward Pittsburgh and onto Route 8 north.

One of the directors was extremely rude. Drove in to park my car in procession order, was greeted with “Are you so-and-so or something?”. What kind of way is that to greet someone, especially someone grieving? Following this, my family was waiting on a few members to enter the chapel together, and the same director snapped at us to “be seated” at once and completely rushed us along. Excuse us for wanting to spend a little more time with our loved one who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. We are paying for the service, our needs deserve to be met, even if it is taking a few extra minutes
