Hi we're Jason and Amanda Bodine. We are both lifelong Decatur residents and we love living here and making our life here. It truly is a great community to live, work and play. We have always loved baking around the holidays and we soon realized we wanted to take our passion to the next level. We constructed a full-size, fully-functional, commercial kitchen right inside our home.

Buttercream Cakes Base Pricing Basic cake flavors with 2 colors of buttercream and top and bottom borders. Sheet Cake Sizing and Pricing Basic cake flavors with 2 colors of buttercream and top and bottom borders. For orders with more detailed designs and fondant decorations the price will be determined by the specifics of that order.

Please note: the more information we have the more accurate your quote will be. Custom Cakes start at $6.50 per serving. Custom cakes require more time, labor and material than a standard buttercream cake and are priced according to each order.
We love getting to tell the story behind our cake scrap packs. They are truly a genius idea. Jason received a message from Mikey Schoneman one Saturday asking what we did with our cake scraps (the tops that we level off cakes). Jason of course told him we throw them away because we of course can't eat them all ourselves.

We like to have the opportunity to schedule Tasting Consultations to meet with the bride and groom to discuss the detials of your wedding and while providing an opportunity for the bride and groom to try our products.Our tasting consultation fee is $25 and all consultations are scheduled for Saturdays.

I recently made my first purchase with Bodine’s Baking Company. I was excited to try this business and spent approximately $40 on 18 cookies for my dog’s first birthday party (the cookies were for guests). I enjoyed the fact that someone delivered my cookies. I was quite shocked and disappointed when I opened the box to see how small 2/3 of them were. Additionally, there were no birthday colors and the decorating looked like it had been rushed. I reached out to the owner who thanked me for my feedback. I again reached out, asking if she could make the order right. I was informed that, per policy

Bodine's Bakery was amazing! Amanda took so much time with us to create the perfect cake for our wedding. When we wanted to adjust some things, she was patient and helped us make the changes. She set it up beautifully and everyone raved about the cake and cupcakes. I would not go anywhere else for my cake needs!

Bodine’s Baking Company is an amazing company to work with. They are very responsive and friendly. They did an amazing job on the cake I ordered for a baby shower. I simply sent a picture of the theme and they replicated it! The cake looked fantastic and tasted delicious. I will be buying all of my cakes from them from now on. I love supporting local businesses And this one made it very easy for me to do so.
