Dr. Magiera graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and takes pleasure in continuing to develop strong family and community ties. He has lived in the Fox Valley area for five years and spends his free time being actively involved in the ministries of two churches in the Appleton area.
Our staff can assist in discovery and safe removal of common debris and foreign objects from your eye. Comprehensive eye exam and summary report sent to your primary care provider with exam findings. Ocular complications from diabetes is the leading cause of blindness and low vision ages 20-74. Dilated exam allows for detection of ocular complications.

We needed a pair of glasses fixed in one day, or replaced due to an accident and we were on vacation. They took the time to fix them, the frame was badly bent and broken. They only charged us a minimal amount and we were back on our way in 25 min. They are super friendly. Everyone there was. Highly recommended

Today, I took my mother to see Dr. Schroeder for the first time. Her previous eye Dr. retired so she put off eye check ups, until it was apparent she needed to have a check.
Immediately, she and I both felt warmly welcomed. The staff was courteous, they recognized I was a helping caregiver and we were both treated with great respect. Each person we interacted with gave same feeling... respectful, caring and kind... This includes Dr. Schroeder. We also appreciated the thorough care received today.
Getting a senior to make changes.. aka new Dr. Is a big deal, especially a young Dr. My mom says

Eye doctor and desk lady were not on the same page. I was given a pair of glasses that in no way solves my problem. After trying to reach them multiple times to answer my questions, I was given misinformation on the capabilities of my glasses. I would have appreciated better customer service with improved problem solving skills. The receptionist that made the mistake did not apologize or own up to the miscommunication in any way.
Currently trying to get my money back so I can go spend it elsewhere.
