Could have been a very nice spot. The dog park was great, sites are a little close together but it’s well kept. We had a few issues that turned a higher star rating into a 1 star rating. We arrived on a Saturday before Noon, however offices were closed and we followed the night check in process. We had two spots reserved and one of the spots assigned to us was taken so we called the number and we’re told to move to two other sites. The biggest problem came Sunday morning just before 10 a.m. when they apparently decided to blow out all the water lines in what appeared to be an urgent emergency

A few long term or permanent campers, including some tent campers, or so it appeared were here in a less than manicured condition! There was a continuous odor of black water while we were there that I could never locate.
We must have been sharing a 'Buddy site" as we faced another RV with minimal buffer. All gravel internal roads, some a little tight. (Gravel pads also)
The upside is that it does sit on the edge of the Beaverhead river, accessible from within the CG. The CG did serve its purpose but I would not stay here more than an overnighter until they took stock of what they have and its

This place is nice!!!. Lots of grass, shade trees and the owners are wonderful. Free coffee and hot chocolate in the mornings. Bathrooms and showers work! There is a playground and fenced dog park. Nice little store. A 24 hour laundry room. Free Mini golf. If your not staying, dump is only $5 and water fill up.
Full hookup sites. Electric/water sites, cabins for rent. And tent sites on the river! Worth a stay. Dillon is a cool little town with friendly locals.

We spent a couple nights at Beaverhead River RV Park two separate times. It was quiet and comfortable. The hookups are very good: electric worked fine, water pressure was great for a nice shower and washing dishes, water tasted good, sewer hookup was very well placed. The sites are very close together and not overly long, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The playground could use some updating, and the pool was out of commission while we were there. We found the bathroom/shower house to be very clean and pleasant to use. This worked fine for us for a couple nights while we were in the area.

I don't normally take showers in provided facilities but after a long hike I wanted a long hot shower and was I a happy camper! Not only hot but strong pressure to boot. The dog run is one of the best I've been to, grassy, trees, benches, and huge. The sites are all relatively flat, the pool looks inviting -lots of kids swimming while we were here. Great amenities, clean and cared for.

While the owner is extremely nice and helpful, this place needs a lot of work. It seems like they are understaffed. The grounds needs a lot of maintenance, there was garbage in the childrens playground, broken swings in the playground, weeds everywhere. Our site was almost complete dirt. Not that owners could control the mosquitos, but dear god they were out of control.
The pool needs some maintenance, it completely out of balance and freezing. The next day the pool was also green. Also the amount of stuff that was floating in it, pretty sure it was algae growing. The main road in front of the

Pet run was amazing. Cows were close and fun. But sites were very close and we were made to face our neighbors so no personal space. Also, no fire ring that we could be sure was ours and not our neighbor. Probably better for one night stop than a stay unless you're with friends and could be next to them. But very friendly campers. Also, fyi, to guarantee site of choice, they wanted another $20.

This was a beautiful campground! It was situated in a grove of trees along the Beaverhead River. The convenience store was stocked with everything you may need that you may have forgotten. The bathrooms were not fancy were clean, much cleaner than the outdoors!

Beaver head river RV resort.
This place is by far the best RV park in the area. Weather you are coming through this area for one night or staying for a while, this place should be where you stay. The staff is wonderful and very helpful to your needs. Clean bathrooms and free coffee in the morning. It has the best sites for shade as well. If you like to fish, the beaver head river runs through the property and is an easy walk from your site to fish. There are hiking trails within a short walk with great views. No need to look for a campground around this area, this will not disappoint you at all
