I can't sing John's praises enough! I was getting so frustrated with the black screens of death interrupting my gaming sessions, and my web browsing. I didn't know the exact cause, but I had a vague idea of what could've been causing them. He listened to me, asked pertinent questions, and so amazingly pieced together the problem that I was shocked. My 10 year old computer was stuck in a loop trying to repair itself - no Web access, just a blue, blue screen. I called Boxaid and John was able to help me restore to factory settings and then take me through all the steps to update my software and get it running again. I've worked with many techs over the years, and John is the best I've ever encountered. Thoughtful, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and an all around great guy. My computer was running slow, and would actually freeze several times a day. I had repair done by Boxaid a couple of years ago, and called them. The technician, Kristina, knew just what to do, and had my computer running smoothly in under an hour, and for a reasonable price. My computer is now faster than it was when it was brand new! Boxaid remote computer repair is the best business I have ever dealt with. I accidentally moved [from my SSD (C:) drive] the "Windows" folder containing my computer's operating system to my secondary [and very slow] (D:) drive. When I called Boxaid last night, I had no space for storing anything and no speed to perform any work. My 1 year old laptop was a paperweight. Corey, my Boxaid technician (extension 809) more than quadrupled the free space in My SSD (C:) drive, and the computer is faster than when I first bought it.

Wow - I can't rave enough about Boxaid!
Found them via Consumer Reports (via Google) and based on the high ratings decided to give them a call.
No voice greetings, no gimmicks, no sales pitches - a real human answered the phone on the 3rd ring (this on a Sunday evening). She diagnosed and fixed the problem literally within minutes (my Outlook refused to launch).
Easy fix by archiving 3 years worth of emails - what a relief!

I was working on a deadline for two papers for school, my laptop was moving slower than pond water. I had found Boxaid and gave them a call, not only did they clean up my laptop and get me a different virus scanner (mcafee always slows it Down bad), they also found the two apps that the school had me install that were eating up my speed, and plugging into everything. I was having computer issues all day yesterday. After spending a few hours attempting to fix it myself, I chatted with an online rep for microsoft for more than two hours hoping they'd be able to help me. They couldn't figure out how to help me and abruptly transferred me to another virtual rep who closed out of our session so I then spent the rest of the day and all of today trying to repair it myself. What a great experience I had tonight. Did not have to call someone to the house. Did not have to take my computer to a repair shop. Instead, I had Christina from Boxaid fix various problems on my computer at lightning speed. She is obviously very knowledgeable in the diagnostics and repair of a vast number of issues that could be the source of my issues, including a couple of big ones caused by a Microsoft update. So, I had a small bump in the road with BOXID and BUT the follow up was AMAZING...LIke Amazon in the early days!!!

My story, I had a problem with my computer and called the outfit and the guy who I go on the phone as a computer Ninja, remoted in the for my all sorted out WELL worth the money!!!

My computer had been painfully slow for months and the last thing I wanted to do was drag my imac to the Apple Store and pay astronomical fees.

Just had a really great experience with Kristina, the tech who helped my PC get back into the fast lane. She was highly competent, friendly and fast. She helped me get a better price on a Microsoft software package also did some other Tuneuppity things like removing addons that slowed down my chrome browser and gave me lots of good advice. I don't usually write reviews endorsing businesses, particularly computer repair services. I started working on computers when they used 5.25 diskettes. Since then, every computer tech I I used disappointed me greatly, especially the in-house ones. However, my experience with Boxaid was phenomenal.

Awesome - Awesome - Awesome !!! Had my computer fixed after my kids infected it. I did not think to pass code protect the computer and after coming back from work the kids already had damaged it again (yes I need to get better control of my kids). I asked Box Aid how much to re - fix. They said no charge and spent a half hour fixing the junk my kids had put back on the box. So thankful for these guys - and yes I have a pass code on my computer now.

I just now delt with Johnathan for the 2nd time and he is awesome!!

The first time I called he spent some time figuring out with me that one of my three monitors was bad and causing some issues... he helped me with a few more settings and when we were done he did not charge me. I was willing to pay something since we spent at least 20-30 min on my system.

Then when I realized there was more going on and that I needed a deep cleaning contacted him on a text..he replied with flat rate fees for services and various minutes that were included with each and left it up to me.

I had a computer problem where I could not access the interwebs. I called comcast and sat on the phone with them for hours and they couldnt help. I found Boxaid Remote Technical Support and was a bit skeptical at first because they had almost all 5 star reviews, but they are all well earned. Johnathan figured out in 5 minutes that it was an automatic update that windows had rolled out and a driver issue. He didn't even charge me since it was such a quick fix. It seems like they can remote in and fix bigger issues. I recommend trying these guys out before you go haul your computer to some geek

I called Boxaid because after installing Window 10 on my wife's computer couldn't be fixed by Microsoft customer service. The problem was that she used Google Chrome, which worked fine for about a week to 10 days, then suddenly she could not change the "default" browser to Chrome. While I considered this an "Operation System" problem, e.g. Windows 10, they insisted that it was a Chrome problem.

While I truly have no idea where the problem originated, I followed a suggestion by a good friend who suggested Boxaid.

Straight Up - Without a shadow of a doubt THE BEST Remote PC Tech Support I have ever experienced, and I've experienced quite a few.

Jonathon was nothing short of amazing as he deftly went through diagnostics of my PC's problem and then not only made the fix (This problem was pretty hairy), but then tested and re-tested to make sure the problem had been completely resolved.

22 years working with Windows Operating systems and their inherent problems and I've finally found a company with superior technicians I can trust to get the job done right the first time. AND . . . at a very
