He had been working in the freight transportation industry for 16 years when he branched out on his own, with the goal of providing quality service through planning, communication and teamwork. He was joined in this endeavor by his daughter Nicole Hoover, who took over the company when Jim retired in 2016.

Our company has been working with Advantage Logistics for over 7 years. When working with Nicole and Lori they are both very professional, friendly and knowledgeable in getting our equipment hauled.
We haul a variety of trucks and equipment, water tanks, small and large truck mount cranes, forklifts, water trucks, dump trucks, bucket trucks, service trucks and more from all areas of the US and Ontario. I can call them and they can get a carrier in when ever I need them even on short notice for both partials and dedicated loads.
On one occasion we had a carrier roll our load in bad weather, Nicole

This company is great to work with! Nicole always gives me the best service I could ask for! Every single time I reach out to her for help she responds immediately letting me know she is working on it! She knows the type of services I need to transport my goods and she confirms with me the needs of my shipments! I have worked with this family owned company for over 18 years with 100% satisfaction. They can handle the standard TL delivery and they are also GREAT with REMOTE Deliveries.
