Their website says they "love" Brenderup horse trailers. I've had mine for a year and it was due for a safety check, so I decided to drive down to Connecticut. I specifically asked about making a single butt bar for it, a new breakaway cable, and floor mats. Joe assured me that they have a fabricator on site, but even 3 weeks after I dropped it off, they still hadn't explored how to make a single butt bar. Instead, they took apart my Factory Sealed For Life brakes and greased and repacked them, and greased my trailer jack. Unfortunately, the guy carting it out from wherever they stored it dropped

I called in on 3/26 to find out about a 8.5x24 trailer they had listed for 8k. Guy named Tony tells me it sold but he has the same trailer but smaller coming in tomorrow 3/27 for 13k. The reason why the price difference is so high is because of lack of inventory. So, because you can’t find materials or enough trailers to sell you basically will charge me double? It’s Thursday’s 3/29 and the trailer hasn’t arrived. I wonder if they’re even is a trailer inbound and it wasn’t a ploy to get me to leave a $2,500 deposit. Good thing is I was smart enough to tell them I was only leaving $500

The experience was awful! I went in this morning after going back and forth by phone and email having decided to buy a trailer from them. I decided on the trailer I wanted but had to leave directly from them and go pick up a piece of machinery I was having serviced elsewhere. The trailer I bought had no rings installed for securing things inside the cargo trailer. I was told it would take two hours for them to install for me and after waiting an hour and a half for the paperwork the awful service department refused to install the rings. These guys are amazing! I have had such a horrible time with other places trying to get a hitch installed! After multiple appointments that were made and nothing came through I called CT trailer! The man was very very helpful. He was able to order the hitch needed for my vehicle and have it in a few days! I would recommend this place over and over again! I have been looking around for a good quality trailer that was priced right. Stopped down to ct trailer and spoke to Dara, she was great to work with and had plenty of patience while we changed things around on what we were looking for. She was very responsive and was there to meet our needs. We came in looking for 1 trailer and walked away with 2. Great quality trailers and a great price. Bought trailer and has been nothing but problems getting it. Took over 2 weeks
Needed to buy new hit was buying some wheres different for $40 They told me they were same price. When I got there was $80
They hook the trailer up to my truck and make it 10 min down road and it comes off
After waiting 1 and a half weeks they tell me there not fixing the problem go through my insurance company not right

I had the best experience with Connecticut Trailers. I have a 21' electric Duffy boat that needed replacement of 12 6 volt batteries. At 65lbs each and 7' to get into the boat it was way beyond my capabilities. There is a complicated way they are all connected together in series and parallel.
They did an awesome job replacing the batteries and disposing of the dead batteries. They also let me know my trailer had grease coming out of a wheel. Gixed that too. Customer service was excellent! Craig in parts was outstanding.

Shaun made the buying process very smooth and was not pushy in the least bit. I knew what I was looking for and even showed me my other options from what I was originally looking at and showed me other trailers that offered the same as the others that I was originally going to get. Staff was very friendly and helpful, no hidden costs and up front an honest as well. Also liked that they double the warranty that the factory gives you, and like that they have a very knowledgeable service team as well. Would definitely recommend them for buying a trailer and if I need one in the future I will go back

I bought a new horse trailer from here which turned out to be damaged. Once discovered I returned it for repair. It took 10 weeks to fix a ramp spring and a sticky window. I was told 1 week turnaround. Repeated calls were rarely returned. Ultimately I went to get the trailer back and the service man was rude. He could not get the trailer out of there fast enough. Told me the window was as good as it was going to get. Did not even give me a chance to check the ramp. I would not buy from them nor have any service done there.

Would never buy a trailer from them again. I was in a rush and needed it for business the next day and it was already the afternoon. I'm certain the salesman took advantage of the crisis. My research later confirmed the 0price was about $1600 higher compared to other online dealers around the country. On the one hand It was a business write-off and insignificant in terms of cost for my business, but on the other hand the salesman should have been more interested in forming a long-term relationship than focused on the one-time sale.

I purchased two trailers from Mike. 1 car hauler and a 16 foot dual axle enclosed trailer. Everyone there was extremely helpful. I had a title problem...red tape technicality garbage and they were more than patient and helpful with helping me get it resolved.
I also needed barn doors on the rear of the trailer - not a common option - but all they had in stock were beaver tail units. Instead of pushing what they had in inventory, they searched other dealers in the northeast and eventually the manufacturer and found exactly what I was looking for.
