BOUT is a full body workout that is not only fun, but will challenge you from the moment you walk into the gym until you leave. Boxing is sweeping the nation as the best total body workout. This classic BOUT boxing class features 12 rounds of boxing, conditioning and movement. Whether you're new to boxing, or an experienced boxer, this class pushes you to improve your overall performance while having fun. Combining boxing with functional training, this class is hard to beat. This class is targeted toward boxers between the ages of 7-13 and is designed for all of the future boxing champions out there.
Boxing is one of the few exercises that can actually get you in better shape and it allows you to work on a skill that people have always been in awe of. You can get faster on a treadmill, but you don't really work on a skill. With boxing, you are working out and getting visible results, but at the same time learning a skill such as a new combo, which can't be replicated by any other workout.
Yes, in fact most people who take this class have never boxed before this. We all have to start somewhere and this is a great time and place to start! And we bet once you come for the first time you will get hooked. Think about it, this is the only place where you can let all of your stress out and receive positive feedback for it!

Started boxing with Bout when they opened, and my girlfriend and I absolutely love this gym. Classes have the perfect blend of cardio and boxing technique. Atmosphere is extremely warm, welcoming, and clean. Shoutout to Kevin and Sean, our rockstar instructors!

Tried it once and I keep coming back. The trainers are understanding, professional, and VERY knowledgeable. They teach you endurance, proper form, and resilience. You need a rest? That's ok! They know everyone has their own process and they're very accommodating of everyone's needs. It's such a safe place. They respect how I prefer to be called and my pronouns. Bout is a new boxing gym in LIC that I was curious about, so I first bought the 2-for-1 class ($30) to try it out. I went to a 7am with Nell who was a lovely trainer, explained things well, and made sure to correct you if needed. I've also taken a class with Daniella who was tough! But super fun and high energy. I've since taken 3-4 classes now with Keven who loves a good bear crawl, will make sure you're punching smart, and always has a good playlist. Seems like no matter who you train with here, it'll be a good time. You can expect a 45 minute class with a warmup, a few rounds

I went to 6 group classes with Keven. He's a great trainer with just the right amount of tough love to get your post-pandemic body moving again. Each time I went is different, he skillfully adjusts to the experience level of the people there but every time is guaranteed to be a sweaty 45min full body workout on the bags and on the floor that will leave you tired in a good way. The facilities are new and clean. There are only 8 bags/stations in the studio which feels safe in these Covid times. There's one single occupancy bathroom and cubbies for your personal items. Took my first class with Daniella on a Sunday morning. It was a small class which I love. Daniella gave lots of form tips which was super helpful. Love that more studios and gym are opening in LIC and don't have to go to Manhattan all the time to get a boxing session in!

What a great total body workout! we did a 3 person group and we laughed, cursed and punched out way through a great workout. Nell the trainer was great! she challenged us while teaching us about boxing! we can't wait to do it again!!

Unlike other boxing gyms, Bout Boxing focuses on each individual and actually teaches you about boxing all while giving you one of the best workouts ever. 45 mins or 12 rounds is more than enough. They were amazing, I burnt 1000 calories easily and I don’t know any place else where I could burn all that in such a short time. Such a fun class!!!!
