Holiday Trav-L-Park is owned and operated by RVers and is the largest and only four star travel park in the Del Rio area. We have traveled the US in all types of vehicles over the years and understand the needs of the modern day traveler and camper. Our facilities are dedicated to make your stay easy, relaxing and comfortable while at the same time offering you plenty of things to do.

Mexico is only about ten miles away with an easy access to restaurants, clubs, gifts, and other tourist attractions. This is a good source for low cost prescriptions, liquor cigarettes and dental work. The abundance of bass has made Lake Amistad the home for many excellent fishing tournaments. A good boat launch, and marina for other needs for the avid fisherman are only minutes away.
Services
Recreational Vehicles come in all different sizes, but at Holiday Trav-L-Park, all are welcome! Whether you are a family fisherman or a trophy sportsman Lake Amistad is great fishing for catfish, large mouth and small mouth bass, and crappie. Even the bow-fisherman will find great gar fishing exciting.

Good park overall. You can tell it's on older park and could use some TLC. We have a 42' diesel pusher RV and it was tight going down the roads and making a couple of turns. 2 of the roads we couldn't go down because the trees were too low. The staff and residents we met were friendly. It's a great location to go to the lake and parks near by.

It may have been the time of year but, the pool was dirty on the bottom with debris, there were no showers and it was muddy from a rain storm. We had to stay an additional day and the friendly Debbie was accommodating. The people were friendly.

We have been here several months now and have decided to stay. The office girls are wonderful and so are the owners and maintenance guys. Park is clean, most clean up after their dogs. Has a nice park and paved roads to walk your dogs. They have weekly and monthly activities like hot dogs roasts, Saturday morning breakfasts, exercise classes, ladies coffee. Mail delivery to office with outgoing mail drop off. Within 5 minutes or less to beautiful lake. Very nice place with very nice people

Not really impressed. Paid for a 50 amp site but was originally given a 30 (so we did move). Their brochure clearly states free cable and even gives a list of stations but cable does NOT exist. Pool was not open and it is March break. Place looks like it used to nice but current owners or management are letting it get run down.

Even 3 stars is a bit generous. We got stuck in very front row on highway (noisy). It was a dusty site that hadn't been cleaned up or checked after last people left & there were screws (luckily I didn't get a flat tyre), batteries, dog 'do' around the site. Despite their own rules on 'air tight' sewerage connections all we had was a wide PVC pipe with no fitting. Had to ask for a table for our site. There is no TV or cable (byo). So at $40 a night I'd expect better.

Filthy bathrooms/showers although very friendly owner. Then we asked and were quoted the good Sam camping rate by the owner but when we checked out the hired woman in the office refused it and charged us full rate saying they were no longer Good Sam even though we told her what the owner said. Her reply was that they had been told to no longer honor Good Sam. We went down the road a short ways and found a spotless well kept Rv park.

This RV park is very run down and in desperate need of an upgrade. Their WIFI is basically nonexistent, a majority of the washers and dryers are out of order and the ones that do work are older than old. The restroom and showers are dirty, dark and needs upgraded. They just increased the cost to stay, so not worth the money!

Stayed only one night, but the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We did laundry ($1.50 a load)...reasonably priced. Very clean. Very nice common area. Highly recommend!!!

Palm trees band mature shade trees in a well maintained rv. park combined with a caring friendly staff provides an excellent destination, and stop over for all fellow road warriors. Also, one of the best bass fishing lakes in America is right across the street.
