The funeral home located at 1009 Maplewood Avenue was built in the early 1900's and started out as a private residence in what was called "Olde Economy Plan" of Ambridge, a city that got it's name from the American Bridge Company. The building sets on what was farming land owned by the former "Olde Economy" founder, Father George Rapp on which eventually became his final settlement.

I would give them zero stars if I could. My brother-in-law chose this place for my sister's funeral, and it was awful. The funeral director shoved a piece of paper at me to proofread on the day of the funeral, and her obituary wasn't posted until the day after the funeral. Her makeup was blotchy and not done well. The funeral service was started 15 minutes early, which was okay, but then we were rushed to leave immediately afterwards. When I went to go up to say my last goodbye, the funeral director held me back and had me go up with her husband; each of us should have been given the chance to
