Each individual necktie is hand cut with tailors' shears and lined only with wool to give the perfect body to the blade of the necktie. Our neckties are hand finished with a dietro punto (top stitch) and close stitched at both tips to maintain perfect tip shape.

My experience with this shop and Lena was nothing short of wonderful. Lena is so warm and professional, and she is also an amazing seamstress. I brought her a dress that I bought online for my son’s wedding. Lena was able to transform my online purchase into an elegant gown, fit for a princess. She also tailored my husband’s slacks with little time provided due to our late purchase. I highly recommend and will continue to ask Lena to alter my clothes.

I have spent many years going to tailors on Long Island recommended by friends. However, must say that no tailor that I have visited was/is as skillful as Sebastiano Montella.
