Services
Covering some 400 acres and fed by the Portage Rivers, Bear Creek and natural springs, Portage Lake enjoys an abundant supply of fresh water. Two thirds of its shoreline is undeveloped, providing habitat for a variety of wildlife. Fish include large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, crappy, bluegill, perch and others.
Owners of recreational vehicles find plenty of reasons to make Klines Resort their home at the lake. Paved roads, LED street lights, treated water, coin laundry and clean restrooms are just a few of the amenities that complement our beautiful location and friendly community. Equal Opportunity Housing: Klines Resort does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, creed, color or national origin.
Park model owners at Klines have a sense of comfort, stability, and economy. It just feels more like a home than an RV, but with the same advantage of seasonal rent. That's why park models are often the choice of snowbirds and other "full timers" in the summer season. Park models are RV's - but they look and feel like a small home.
For those age 55+, Klines Resort offers a variety of comfortable, low maintenance homes in a range of styles and prices. It's your home, so you can decorate and fix it up as you please. Yards are small and easy to maintain, yet offer plenty of opportunity for the green thumb. Resort crews assist with leaf pickup, curb-side yard waste pickup, and tree trimming.

My husband and I applied for a home to buy in this beautiful (and it IS beautiful) park but we’re turned down because of a 5 year old issue. Even though our payment record of ALL our bills, had no trouble getting financed for this home, and never even met face-to-face we were still turned down. I called the office 5 times and never got a return call until a week later but still no approval. We have always made a place look better than it did after we moved in!! My hobby is decorating. All the people we met seemed to like us a lot!! Guess he thought we might be white trash (even if we never saw

My grandparents have lived in this resort for I believe around 20 years. I've seen this place grow from a trailer park on a lake into the wonderful resort that it is now.
The only complaint is the lack of cell service. But that is indicative of the area in general. But that knocks the rating to a four. Then factor seeing grandparents bumps it back up a star.
