Deanna Dusbabek is an award-winning photographer with a full service approach on Bainbridge Island in the Pacific Northwest. She specializes in artistic portraiture with a magazine style meant to last for generations in heirloom products. Services
I studied screenwriting at the Seattle Film Institute and hold a professional certificate in screenwriting from UCLA and a BA in philosophy from Seattle University. I'll let you in on a little secret: when I look at you, all I see is the light in your soul that comes up through your eyes. And that's what makes you extraordinary, beautiful, a masterpiece.
I admit to having a great passion for redheads. I was a redhead once, but mine came out of a box and after two weeks or so, it looked like muddy rust. I was never a gloriously appointed, true flame-headed wonder, like these two sisters, Samantha and Olivia. Redheads invariably remind me of the Romantic Era.
Karaline's mom Sherri has been a dear friend of mine for several years and she's blessed with two incredible daughters, Kate and Karaline. Both are funny, charming, intelligent and drop dead gorgeous. And both have been gracious enough to sit for me for creative sessions that were about fun, play and just seeing what we could get.
Renee needed fresh headshots for her acting pursuits as well as a starter model portfolio. She's a powerhouse of talent, so I was thrilled to meet her and her mom and see how I could help them. I instantly felt Renee's creative energy, as her many talents include acting, singing, modeling and fashion design.

Deanna was fabulous to work with as I needed head shots for an author photo. She accommodated my request for a more natural, casual photograph, minimally retouching second photos that she took when I asked her for a less "glamorous" shot. I would definitely recommend Deanna and will call on her again for future photographs!

I engaged Deanna Dusbabek Photography to create lifestyle images and branding for mine and my daughter's businesses, which are joined but with individual branding. Deanna is a professional and really connected with us to put us at ease and bring out our true spirits. The preparation and planning leading up to the shoot was so thorough and the process really helped us to define our message and focus on what we wanted to convey in our images. Deanna is an amazing photographer. She understood what I want and suggested brilliant locations for the photo-shooting session. She sent the photos to me within two days and the photos were more than amazing. She gave me useful advice during the session so I was able to realize the type of style I always wanted. What an incredible experience my girlfriend Tribe and I had with our individual and group photos. We were indulged from start to finish with delicious food and champagne along with all the details of feeling oh so very glamorous and pampered. Deanna's attention to detail while making us feel oh so very relaxed and comfortable always checking in with us during the shoot and her joy and willingness to show us the shots she was taking.
