Stuart Schuhmann graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce and holds a Clinical Social Work License (LCSW), beginning his service to others in 2011. Stuart works with individuals in Southeastern Oklahoma and Northeastern Texas. Stuart's therapeutic approach is to draw on a variety of methods and styles creating a tailored approach based on clients specific needs instead of forming the client relationship around a specific methodology.
He accepts clients of all ages and works with individuals, couples and groups to help people overcome various issues such as problems within relationships, addictions, school issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and other areas that cause stress in life. Stuart has an easy-going personality with a passion for helping people overcome life's struggles and work towards a purpose driven life.

Services
I provide services to all ages, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors. In addition to individuals, I offer couples and family counseling, school assistance, court ordered services and group therapies. I am committed to providing affordable, accessible, person based care to all of my clients.

Stuart is a very caring and helpful therapist. He truly listens and interacts with you and has great compassion for people. There is no feelings of being judged or looked down upon. He is also not stuck to a methodology like many therapist or counselors are but tries to find methods that are individualized to each person. I have worked with Stuart in Idabel in both a individual and marital counseling and found him very helpful in both dynamics. I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling and looking for a truly caring person to help.
