Tabor Commons offers the best senior care in coastal North Carolina. Our services vary from a high level of care to minimal depending on the needs of your loved one. Below are our offerings. Our assisted living (AL) communities, which are licensed by the state, help to provide high quality care to residents requiring assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs).
At Tabor Commons, we are here to help. We want this to be a decision you and your loved ones are comfortable with, so we believe it is good to be really informed about the decision and think through some of the most asked questions. At Tabor Commons, we offer a communal dining experience and meals are a great pleasure. Our meals are prepared fresh, on-site, three times daily and served by our caring and dedicated dietary personnel. The menu used by our Tabor Commons community is designed by a registered dietician and includes a well-balanced diet.
Tabor Commons has a dedicated staff member for our activities program. Each week, we have 14+ hours of planned group activities to include things like Bingo, exercise, socials, crafts, and outings. Our activities are designed to engage all of our residents and their varying interests. Residents are encouraged to be part of our resident council.
Our communities strive to make things convenient for our residents. In so doing, we are proud to partner with top-quality providers who come into our communities to provide services so our residents never have to leave their home. We also partner with a long-term care pharmacy Medicine Mart LTC. They provide top-notch care and provide us with an eMAR system to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery.
