Services
Before you begin any design project, large or small you need to have a plan. We offer a one-on-one In-Home Consultation with our lead designer. Generally one hour will be spent touring your home while discussing what is working for you and what is not and your vision for the space. We will listen to your goals, ideas, and concerns and review any design challenges that may exist.
We offer quality, custom upholstered furniture and case goods at excellent prices. There are hundreds of frame styles and fabrics to choose from. We'll guide you through the process selecting the best piece that fit your style, size, scale, color and budget for each room. Since we are able to buy direct from many furniture manufacturers we are sure to find the perfect pieces for every room in your home.
We work closely with our expert carpenters to design and create beautiful custom cabinets for every room in your home. We can create cabinets in any style from Shaker to Super Modern to Traditional in the wood species of your choice. We offer hundreds of stain options as well as countless paint options.
Accessories are what complete a room, starting with the all important element-lighting. Lighting is very important in planning a room. You must have the proper mix of task and ambient lighting in each space. There are also many types of lighting available now from incandescent to halogen. Knowing where and how to use each and properly place the lighting in a room can make all the difference in a well planned room.
Rancho Interior Design offers it's design services to all of North County San Diego designing each home with a warm, coastal vibe. I had recently moved into a new place and I was looking for someone who could think out-of-the-box as I also do some interior decorating but felt that I needed something different or some type of new ideas. Cynthia came by and looked at what I already had to work with and within 1 hour completely transformed my place. It was amazing . It just goes to show an experienced designer definitely does have a different eye for the way things should look. I was really really impressed. She does know her stuff that's for sure!

I recently retired and relocated and, having worked with interior designers at my prior homes I went searching for someone to assist me with achieving the look-and-feel that I wanted in my new (to me) residence. One element of my selection criteria was cost - and staying within a given budget. Of the designers that I met with it quickly became apparent to me that Cynthia understood this. I have not been disappointed.
