Loving Arms Birth and Wellness Center, LLC is a God-honoring sanctuary where mothers and mothers-to-be can find peace and tranquility. Mothers are encouraged to allow their natural processes to bring their babies into this world. Nothing is forced; no labor-inducing drugs are employed. We firmly believe that children are born on exactly the day, at exactly the time God determines.
Mothers are not confined to a bed or forced to maintain a particular position while they await the magic moment when their babies take their first unassisted breaths. They are encouraged to labor in any position they find comfortable, and to deliver their babies wherever they desire. The facilities at loving arms allow for water births as well as more traditional settings.

Services
Karin is the mother of three adult children and a proud grandmother. She has been happily married to her husband David for over 40 years. Several years ago, her heart became burdened with the desire to participate in the birthing community. She began her work with mothers and babies by serving as a doula.
The above fees are usually covered by your insurance if you have met your deductible. Homebirth is covered by private insurance. By Florida statue number 627.6574 : "birth with a licensed midwife is covered by any group, blanket, or franchise policy of health insurance that provides coverage for maternity care".
My experience at Loving Arms was amazing! It was the best out of my six pregnancies! The midwives became my friends. They laughed with me and they cried with me. They taught me more about what decisions I could make regarding child birth than I had learned with any of my other pregnancies. They are so knowledgeable and love to answer questions.

I had an amazing experience here. They worked with me closely on diet and nutrition - I have a severe corn allergy that they always took into consideration. They've respected my concerns and encouraged me each step of the way. I felt so empowered and had a great birth experience BECAUSE they had worked hard to build relationships that I could fully trust in what felt like my weakest (strongest?) moment. The postpartum care has also been invaluable as they came to our home for the initial follow up. I can't imagine a better experience. Highly recommend.

This is truly an amazing place. I have been an RN for over 30 plus years in many settings. I participated as a student here, and what an amazing experience I got to part-take in. These midwives are greater than 100% dedicated, compassionate, and highly educated group of women. It was refreshing to see the care, and welcoming of the staff. Staff welcomed me, and always introduced the patients and their families. The patient's were just as friendly and compassionate. What a bond I was able to see with the staff and their clients. I wouldn’t recommend if you are not comfortable with putting the birth centers desire to teach students over your own preferences and desire for working with a professional provider. I also wouldn’t recommend if you have Medicaid as the services you receive are not of the same quality as those who are covered by private insurance. Moreover, if you are a women who wants your husband involved every step of the way, I would not recommend this center. My husband was rarely acknowledged or included in conversations by one midwife in particular. I would have to literally include him in the conversation

What an amazing experience! I chose the birth route of a birthing center as I felt it would be the most stress free experience for myself and that is exactly what I recieved. the staff was so awesome I felt so comfortable with them right from the beginning. every appointment was so informative when it came to baby day I felt like I was ready with no worries as they had already prepared me for every route that may happen. my hirth was exactly what I wanted so amazing I cant even explained the feeling and they are supporting you 110% through it. I would recommend Loving Arms to everyone thank you

My 16 year old daughter was present for the delivery and they included her. She says that witnessing her sister's birth was one of the best days of her life. She even got to cut the cord and inspect the placenta! I cannot recommend this place and these ladies

The midwives at loving arms helped make the homebirth of my first child a calm, beautiful and memorable experience. They are realistic and informed. There was never a lack of information or honesty. I cannot recommend them enough. Even though we live in Gainesville, an hours drive away, it was worth the drive to feel reassured in the confidence of Karin and her team.
