Services
The mission of Residences on Forrest Lane and our parent company, Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc., is to serve elderly and disabled individuals by providing quality housing, healthcare and other services to enhance the lives of those we serve. We are located on the same campus as our sister skilled nursing community, Montello Care Center.
I have been actively involved in senior housing operations for more then a decade. I have had the privilege of being employed at The Residences on Forest Lane since March of 2017 and recently became Administrator of this exceptional community. I embrace the philosophy that governs my approach to leadership which is, 'Assisted living should be based on the possibilities rather then the limitations.'
To provide the best care and convenience to our residents, we offer in-home healthcare at Forest Lane through our sister company, Transitions At Home, although you are encouraged to use the home health agency of your choice. Transitions provides medical care and rehab therapy using licensed RNs and therapists, and home health aides.
Join our team of caregivers who've discovered the rewards of a healthcare career in senior care. RAs and CNAs are in demand. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, plus the reward of knowing at the end of each day, you've helped someone have greater quality of life. Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) take a short course, often given by the American Red Cross or a community college.
It is estimated that one million Americans live in more than 20,000 assisted living communities. Assisted living residents can be young or old, affluent or low income, frail or disabled. Residents may suffer from mild Alzheimer's disease or memory disorders, or may simply need help with mobility, incontinence or other challenges.

Residences on Forest Lane is one of the most comfortable, home-like assisted livings I've seen. They are small enough to have the intimate feel and they treat everyone like family. The additional services available on-site like skilled nursing and rehab therapy are great assets too.
