Services
Accent Architecture is a full service Architectural firm, with the diversity and experience to handle virtually any project. Accent Architecture has worked on both national and international projects.

The firm, and it's owner John Imhof RA, have designed and consulted on projects in New York, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Manhattan, Long Island, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties, New Jersey, Florida, Pennsylvania, Greece, Mexico, Spain, Nigeria, Panama and Haiti.
Once your job is approved, your contractor could pull his permit and begin working. During the construction, the building department and / or the Architect may need to make site visits to observe and verify the work. Accent Architecture also offers an optional service, where we visit the site on a weekly or biweekly basis as well.
This is the typical fee structure for Accent Architecture. Fees are quoted up front for services we provide. The fees are usually divided into multiple payments which are due at various stages of the project.

Although this type of fee structure is rarely used, some services must be quoted this way because of their unpredictable nature, fixed fees in these cases would have to be over estimated to cover "what may come up", so an hourly fee structure is the least expensive solution and therefore the most fair to the client.
Usually an Architect is required whenever you move, remove or modify walls, windows, doors, roofs, structural members, rooms, floors, add square footage, retaining walls, swimming pools, changing the occupancy or use of a building or space, changing the facade, changing the egress from a building, when applying for most permits, when applying for a new Certificate of Occupancy, legalizations, violation removal, home inspections, certifications and so much more.
