Dr. Anamika Sharma is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She is a board certified pediatrician and completed her residency at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, Los Angeles, CA where she earned her MD degree. We have an Apogee Elite Laser System from Cynosure, which is used for both lighter and darker skins. The Elite Laser generates light energy of a certain wavelength, which is absorbed by the hair follicle. The hair follicle in turn will heat up and get destroyed. I've done 4 laser treatments and already I can see a huge difference in my face. The hair growth has drastically reduced (by 90-95%) and the texture of my skin has become smooth. Dr.sharma is really sweet and gives me really good advice everytime I go there. I have a very irregular schedule of being in and out of the city and Dr. Sharma is very considerate when it comes to scheduling and rescheduling my appointments. I have gone to other laser treatment places and skin related doctors and by far have felt the most comfortable and satisfied here! Definitely would recommend!
