Thirty years ago, most surgery was performed in hospitals. Long waits for an appointment were not uncommon and patients typically spent several days in the hospital. A group of Baton Rouge orthopedic physicians saw an opportunity to establish a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to inpatient hospital care for orthopedic surgical services.

Dr. Hall has maintained a successful podiatry practice in Baton Rouge for the 30 years and provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. As a Baton Rouge native, Dr. Hall graduated from University High and Louisiana State University before receiving his degree in podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. McCarthy graduated from Michigan State University with high honors and a Bachelor of Science Degree in human physiology. He received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1999, graduating in the top twenty percent of his class. Dr. McCarthy continued his training at Tulane Medical Center by completing an orthopaedic residency there in 2004.

These people did not give me enough anesthetic, so I felt the whole thing. I was crying my eyes out because of the pain. They thought i was faking, so they refused to give me any sort of pain meds. I am also epileptic, and I take ativan if I'm about to go into a seizure. They refused to give me an ativan when my wife told them that. Once my vitals got low, my wife had to grab a nurse and bring her into the room to show them a THIRD time that I was about to have one. She had to tell at them to give me ativan, and they finally gave me some through IV and gave me a pain med by mouth. It's absolutely
