Auction properties are sold As-Is and with All Faults. There are no warranties expressed or implied of any kind. We like to say "What you see is what you get, and what you don't see, you get that too!" Auctions are non-contingent sales! They are not subject to post sale home inspections, pest inspections appraisals, and financing.
Selling at auction is easy and can be hassle free for the seller. Halfhill Auction Group even teams with cooperating brokers/agents to expedite the selling of their clients listing that is already on the market. I can’t say enough about these folks! They came to my rescue when I recently became the executrix of my cousin’s estate. She left behind a house full of china, crystal, jewelry, purses, shoes , furs and furniture. My problem was that I lived 500 miles away in a different state. I was faced with the prospect of spending months going through everything to get it sold. Turned out, that was no problem for the Halfhill Auction Group. The Halfhill Auction Group were a true pleasure to work with. They were professional, personable, and highly skilled at their craft. I have seen members of the Halfhill team conduct auctions at two different events and was very impressed both times. They work with the crowds/audience to help increase bids and sell items at the highest price they could generate. It was fun to watch them in action. The Halfhill Auction Group has done LCT's live auction for our annual gala for several years now, and has made a huge difference in terms of the dollars raised for the theatre. They are a terrific team - incredibly fun and encouraging to bidders without being pushy. For a nonprofit auction, they are great at communicating the reasons why it is important to bid (to raise funds to support the mission).
