Alamo Glass
Founded in 1958 by a group of five professional glass men, Alamo Glass has become a leader in the glass industry in Acadiana. The ownership of Alamo Glass was transferred to Jack Walton in the late 1970's and then to Jerry Walton upon Jack's retirement. Our first location was at 205 West Vermilion next to Dixie Office Supply, across from Lou's Coffee Shop and down the street from Lafayette Motors and Lafayette Hardware store.

In 1971, we relocated to our current location at 1220 Bertrand Drive. We have grown with Acadiana through the years. We service the Acadiana area with shower doors, mirrors, storefronts, picture framing, glass repairs, and auto glass. No job is too small for our services. From our in house window glass cutting, to installing an auto windshield at your location, we do it all!

I wanted to give no stars the owner Henry is very rude and disrespectful. One of his drivers hit my park car and first he tried to go under the table not through the ins and second he gave me the run around. If u need your class fix I suggest u go else where

Very welcoming when you walk in! Took my measurements for my name in the system. Within 10 minutes maybe I had my glass. The gentleman loaded it for me in my truck as well! I will be back. Your glass is cut while you wait. No ordering necessary.
Thanks Alamo for great outstanding service.

CC & the staff at Alamo are very patient, kind & thorough. We were put at ease & they took excellent care of us for about 2/3rds the cost of Safelite. They did a great job & got us back on the road quite quickly. Thank you everyone!

I am in a wheel chair because of multiple sclerosis. There is not a ramp at Alamo Glass, so it is impossible for any one who is unable to walk get into the store. Nothing is more humiliating than trying to get in a store when you are unable to walk. It sad that the owners have decided to ignore handicap people.

Do not do any business with these people.I hired them to change 1 window for $200 they did over $200 in damage. When I called I was told they would take off $50.What a joke then they were going to fix the damage still waiting months now.E-mailed them no answer so I had to fix it myself. To little to go to court ,so don't pay them until AFTER them job is done that was my mistake or better use some one else..
