At Traditional Floors & Design Center we have been in the flooring business for a combined 69 years! Ken, owner of Traditional Floors started his first years as a installer for his fathers store, Granite City Floor Covering. He installed for two years before he came into the customer service side of the business.
After a tragic family accident with his father Orville, Ken soon ran Granite City Floor Covering for the next 25 years. Ten years later Ken's parents decided to close the store, so Ken & his wife Pam decided to start their own flooring business. Traditional Floors & Design Center currently has over thirty designer inspired showrooms that reflect the unique designs we have to offer!

Edward was our salesperson and Vern our installer. Both were professional and provided excellent customer service. Edward was able to show a variety of carpeting at our price point and was patient in explaining the differences. Vern completed the installation according to our schedule without any issues. Went in quickly and looks beautiful. Thank you! Will definitely recommend Traditional Floors.

Great people to deal with ,we had a little issue with initial installation upstairs but the owner Steve made sure it was fixed to our satisfaction . Then we went back to them for our basement once remodel was done ,PERFECT installation even the stairs look great ! Thanks for taking care of us Steve . To me the true test of any company is how you are treated when a problem arises , that really shows who you're dealing with.
