Window tint has come a long way over the years. From stained glass to a nano-particle technology that blocks more heat, glare and harmful U/V and IR rays. As far as the damaging effects of U/V radiation, all window films can protect us by rejecting up to 99% of these rays. The infrared rays are a work in progress, with only a select few films that protect us.
Automotive window tint is a sheet of strong polyester laminate treated in variety of ways to improve the look and performance of existing windows. One side has a scratch-resistant coating and the other has an adhesive that bonds to the glass window.

In the state of Ohio 50% is legal on the front 2 doors while any percentage window film is legal on the back half of your car, truck or van.* In the state of Michigan a 4 strip along the top edge of the front 2 doors is legal. While allowing at least 34% visible light on the back half of your car, truck or van.*
The window tint removal process can be very difficult or not that big of a deal. There are many different factors like age of the tint, the type of tint, where the vehicles been, etc. Each tint removal has its own challenges that's why we need to look at the vehicle for an accurate price quote. Keep in mind that when removing tint on back windows you always take the chance of losing your rear defroster.

This was my first time getting my windows tinted, so I was a little skeptical and nervous. The owner was very professional and courteous. He was able to get me an appointment quickly and even got me in earlier than expected that day. The personal waiting room was a nice touch during my wait. My windows look so good now!! I can truly say this is the best place to go to get your windows tinted. From the very beginning he was very kind to me and my girlfriend and he was very informative about the tinting process and explained everything very well and helped us figure out which percentage we thought was best for our cars. This is the best choice for window tinting in the Toledo area. John is extremely knowledgeable about window tinting and did a great job explaining the process to me. He was able to provide me with an accurate completion time. His prices are fair and the tint quality is as high as I’ve ever experienced. I plan on using John for all my window tints moving forward.

John has been very informitive on the different levels of tinting available as well as the many awesome services he has available. I had both of our car windows tinted they turned out perfect. I had my wife’s Jeep Wrangler Sahara’s unlimited front windows tinted to match the rear windows. John did a fantastic job and it took less than a hour. I’ll be back with my Ram 2500 to have them done. Very professional and High quality workmanship. I will recommend to friends. Just returned to the Tint Tech to have my ram 2500 done. Yes, he explained things well and went over that he cared about the work and what he was doing. But the job was not done well. The tint had bubbles and streaks in it and I had him do it twice to try and fix it! Alas, it still doesn't look good. Of course, he won't return our $ for the poor job so we have to pay more to go somewhere else and have it done right.
If you truly want quality tint work, I suggest looking somewhere else.

Awesome customer service. I would give 10 stars out of 5. The owner responded to my email within half an hour late at night and work around my schedule to make an appointment for me. I really like that he gave me advice and suggestion base on what I want and need. He doesn't push me to purchase his service which is a plus. I highly recommend this place for whoever looking to tint their car. He gave me all instructions about what I should and shouldn't do after tint my car really really details.

Superior customer service. The owner walked me through the options and the pros and cons of each and seemed to be really focused on the customer experience. It was nice to have the waiting room so that I could be around while he completed the job. Quality of work looks great!

I shopped five locations when looking to have my 2015 Dodge Charger windows done! The web site, location and most of all John's interaction made me pick this location. The pricing was the same as other locations but it was his interactions and flexibility that made me choose his location. He cared about my car and the outcome of the tint just as much as I did.
