The sprawling ten-acre farm features our one-of-a-kind 6,000 sq ft Tasting Room & Vineyard Cafe along with the historic manor home and 200-year-old pecan trees that give Nutwood its name. Grilled pork tenderloins with a raspberry sauce topped with horseradish cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce served on our honey wheat rolls. I had a great experience here for a friend's birthday. They were whacked but the service was great. There was a fun and delicious selection of appetizers and the wine flights were amazing! They had wonderful wines, especially for being in the south east where most wines are sweet they had some wonderful dry whites and reds! The atmosphere is great too! There was alive music when we were there and the grounds are beautiful for walking around or taking pictures.

Nutwood Winery is a nice addition to my hometown. I've been wanting to visit for a while now so I decided to take my mom for her birthday. The weather was really nice on this particular Saturday so we walked around a little and took pictures outside before venturing inside to taste the wines. We were greeted by a woman who said there would be a 45 minute wait for a table and that we could go to the bar until our table was ready. We headed to the bar and was first told that for a tasting flight those are reserved for tables, but luckily we were able to snag a seat on the couch on the screened

This is definitely a place you want to add to your list of stops while traveling in the southeast. Easy to get to from interstate 85, the Nutwood Winery has all of the charm of a southern colonial home, from the columned house to the expansive, multi-roomed tasting and dining facility. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first! The staff are always very attentive and friendly, and the selection of their local signature wines is over the top. The pork tenderloin sliders as well as the pecan encrusted chicken finger salad were both masterpieces in their own right and very satisfying

My first visit was for a Birthday dinner with friends. It was amazing in every way. It was raining but we were still able to sit outside on the cozy porch strung with lights as we listened to live music. The wine choices were so good and we didn't taste one we didn't like... and the Food choices are great. The servers are all so friendly and made our visit perfect. Love the atmosphere! The historic home on site as you drive up is beautiful.

We went to Nutwood Winery while visiting friends ln LaGrange. Short easy drive and well marked made for an easy trip. Beautiful grounds and just a lovely well done restaurant with inside seating and just a wonderful outdoor patio seating. Lots of fans and lighting and I think even in fall and winter would be comfortable as each table had its on heater.
The menu is a step up from just light appetizers. Our table had pork tenderloin sliders, chicken salad sandwich, and pesto BLT. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal and salads.

Had the BEST time here last Saturday evening with my friend, Brittany, who suggested it. Talk about breathtaking scenery! Hospitality 100%. Wines delicious (the wine tree is amazing and I do suggest the slushies... and then combine them, lol). The charcuterie board was pleasant and the wheat rolls were mouth-watering. We enjoyed the live band and vibe of the place so much that we stayed til near close of business. I'm impressed and will return.

I was in town visiting a friend and we came for some wine and light snacks and this place hit the spot. It's on a huge plot of land with beautiful main house and landscaping. Out in the tasting room off the main house, has plenty of seating and a menu full of wine and food. The wine slushie was such a fun and yummy drink for beating the heat. The fruit and cheeseboard was also very filling and surprisingly large for two people. This place would be great for all sizes of parties and occasions. Cant wait to come back!

Me, my fiancé and his parents came here on the recommendation of a friend today and this place is fantastic! We basically tried one of everything on the wine menu, and loved everything. We are even taking home bottles of our favorites back to Vegas! The food was also delicious and much needed after so many delicious wines. The staff was amazing, plus we didn't realize but our server was a daughter of the owners! She was so kind and helped us out with all our questions and inquiries. I love Nutwood Winery! The environment is so clean and beautiful! The staff is so kind and warm welcoming and make you feel like family! The cheese and fruit board was so yummy, along with the warm honey wheat rolls! I loved my chicken salad sandwich (the best I've ever had) and the side broccoli salad! The frozen peach wine was so refreshing! If you are visiting Callaway Gardens, this needs to be added to your "to-do" list! I can't wait to go back!

The owners, Neil and Trish, did a phenomenal job with the place. Not only that, there wine tasting led us to the mother ship of wines...Southern Blackberry 36 aged in a Whiskey Barrel. It is the bomb!!!!
