Services
The history of winemaking in our family starts in Santa Maria Del Molise, Italy, in the mid -1900's. Santa Maria is a small farming community, with natural springs from the mountains and rich soil for vineyards. It was there my grandparents began a life-long tradition of making fine wines.
In 1963 my grandfather, Ottavio, moved his family from Italy to Franklin, MA, where he carried on the winemaking tradition from a small hand-dug cellar in our home.Today, in that very same home, I have been creating delicious wines using the same traditional methods my grandfather taught me.

This Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of peach and grapefruit. On the palate, the grapefruit continues with the addition of lemon flavors. On the finish, grapefruit continues to dominate giving this wine a citrus and bright profile. This Chardonnay is a go to wine. It's stainless steel aged provides a welcoming nose of honeysuckle, green apple, and lemon.
You will be joining a group of people who love wine, and together we will be learning the process of wine making. From grapes, barrel, and bottle, you are involved in the educational and fun process of making wine. Whether you want to share that experience with family or friends, it's up to you. Together, our wine Crush Crew will produce hundreds of bottles of wine, which we will share at the end of class.

Really nice place to go for great wine and atmosphere, I came here for an alumni event over the weekend. It's a family-owned business with an excellent variety of wines, I was impressed that every one I tasted was so good! The highlights for me were the Cab, the Rose, and the Cranberry Honey (probably one of the most unique and delish wines I've had in a long time). It was hard to decide which ones to pick when buying bottles because they were all so tasty, but I finally settled on the Cranberry Honey and Rose.

The wine is delicious but the best part is the friends that you meet every time you go. You arrive as strangers and leave as friends and that’s thanks to the welcoming environment that Bob and Ana created. I have been so blessed to share many happy moments with friends at La Cantina . They welcome you like family and I fully support this local business in a time when so many are forced to close they are doing well !!! Bob and Ana are the two most compassionate and loving people I have EVER met! The support that they offer to our ENTIRE community is off the charts! Personally, they continually support our Jimmy Fund Team helping us fundraise through a Pub Crawl and hosting our finish line celebration! I was saddened to read Susan’s post below as I have witnessed first hand how considerate Bob and Ana are of closing events down early to not disturb their neighbors and/or surrounding businesses! The Cab Reserve is my personal favorite…and their Sangria is a close second! “Enter As Strangers, Leave As Friends”

When we arrived we thought the place was closed despite the open flag hanging on the building so we parked and found the set-up in the backyard and so glad we did! The people, and the place were so inviting! Ana, Bob , Phyllis and Andrea were so friendly and welcoming to their home and winery! The wines were wonderful from the reserve Cabernet, the Barbera, the Sangiovese and the Pinot Grigio! Great afternoon stop and don't get fooled by the empty dark building!

What a hidden gem just outside of downtown Franklin. We have driven by La Cantina for years and never knew what we were missing. Great wine and eats. The owners Ana & Bob are great people that work hard to ensure a great time. You would never know you were sitting in backyard in Franklin. This is a must visit.

What a fun little spot! Bob and Anna have created a gem! The wine list, which includes both standards and unique options is amazing! I recommend the tasting. It is fifteen dollars and includes your selection of five of their varied wine options. It also includes a keepsake wine glass. My husband and I shared a crostini board which was fabulous! Last night there was entertainment there...@Ken Barney played some fun acoustic standards which complimented the cool vibe! La Cantina is small but this just added to the conviviality of the evening.

A cute little winery in Franklin that features an array of excellent white and red wines. We stopped in here on our way to Patriot Place and it was so cozy and quaint that we almost didn't want to leave. We tried all their red wines ($15 for a tasting), and I absolutely loved all of them, which is rare for me since I consider myself a wine snob...lol!!! And, we met the owners Bob and Ana who were super friendly. They also had a cheese and cracker plate which we ordered since we were starving. If you find yourself bored on a Sunday afternoon, head to La Cantina and experience the fun of wine

This is a little hidden gem. The owners Bob and Ana were very nice. The atmosphere was great you can do a tasting inside or on a nice day sit outside at one of the tables and enjoy it. For those of you with pets you may bring them to sit with you outside. They charge average price for tasting but you get to get to keep the glasses when your finished. They have a great variety of wines to choose from. You May bring food from outside to eat, or if you forget they offer two local cheeses and crackers for you to enjoy with your wine. Great wine space and atmosphere my friends and I were in the area looking for a wine tasting when we came across la cantina. The owners were friendly and welcoming, you can order tasting or by the glass bring your own snacks or they also offer a selection of local cheeses which I did not try but looked delicious. Will definitely stop in next time I am in the area

I took my Mum here for Mother's Day, and she loved it. You don't get to have a conversation with the actual wine maker at most wineries, so this was extra special. I'm not a wine person, but I do enjoy a GOOD glass of wine, La Cantina has AMAZING wine. 5 stars for the quality of the wine, the atmosphere and the hospitality.
