From the time my baby's first visit was conducted 3 weeks ago to today, we received nothing less than the best level of communication and professionalism from Center Staff and affiliates. Dr. Charles Perkins: THANK YOU and THANK YOU AGAIN for doing exactly what you said you would do. There was appropriate turnaround for Laila's procedure on this morning and the timeline was perfect for the both of us.

To provide relaxation during a dental treatment, The Children's Dental Center may give your child nitrous oxide/oxygen, also known as laughing gas. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a combination of the two gases of oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over your child's nose, allowing your child to relax, but without putting the child to sleep.
If the procedure occurred in the upper or lower jaw, your child's tongue, teeth, lips and surrounding tissue will be numb. Your child may not understand the effects of local anesthesia, and could chew, scratch, suck, or play with the numb lip, tongue, or cheek. These actions may cause minor irritations or they can be severe enough to cause swelling and scratches to the tissue.
