This tradition will continue as a third generation continues to lead the company into the future. Since opening in 1963, Sonderen has grown from 8 employees working in a 2,000 square foot basement shop, to 150+ employees and a 130,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility.

Sonderen Packaging is family owned and operated. We are in the business of manufacturing high quality, custom packaging made primarily out of paperboard material. Paperboard is light weight but strong, printable, recyclable and sustainable making it the perfect packaging medium. Examples of packaging styles that we manufacture include a variety of different folding cartons, glued sleeves, display cartons, hang tags, and gable top cartons.
Environmental responsibility has been an integral part of the Sonderen company culture and philosophy for many years. Paperboard packaging provides distinct advantages over other forms of packaging, and it fits with our corporate desire to preserve and recycle. Sonderen believes that where we receive materials from, and who we purchase them through, is very important.
