Our mission at Lake Michigan Chiropractic is simply to serve you. We provide excellent chiropractic care to help our patients reach and exceed their health goals. We assess the patient as a whole. We want to address the main concern, but also lead you into a lifestyle of being pain free.

Kraig Kirkdorfer, DC is a proud native of Southwest Michigan. The son of local dentist, Thomas Kirkdorfer, DDS, Dr. Kraig began his education at Lakeshore Public Schools. He actively participated in drama, choir, and band before graduating from Lakeshore High School with academic honors and a National Merit Scholarship.
Before the session, your therapist will ask you how you are feeling and what your needs are for this session. You will then work together to determine what you will be working on for that session. Your therapist will leave the room to provide you the privacy to undress down to your comfort level- underwear on or nude are acceptable for table massage- and will knock on the door first to make sure you're ready.
Here at Lake Michigan Chiropractic we value our patients. We acknowledge that going to a new place for the first time can be nerve racking. We want to do everything we can to eliminate any unnecessary stressors, which is why we include the option of printing and completing your forms at home. We think of our patients as part of our extended family, and we are excited to meet you!

My son received a concussion with vestibular issues because of the concussion. After 3 weeks of physical therapy, we knew we needed to try something else. After meeting with Dr. Kraig, he started adjusting my son to get him back in alignment. We also started massage therapy with Sarah. After 3 visits, my son felt 100% better and was able to return back to sports. I now refer to Dr. Kraig and Sarah as our “Miracle Workers.” Besides all the help they provided, they are also super friendly and kind. The receptionist is amazing to work with! Helpful with insurance and just the sweetest person.

After 30+ years with the same doc, I had to find a new one when he retired. Some chiropractors have the "touch" and some just don't. You can tell which ones have it from the first adjustment. Dr. Kirkdorfer definitely has the "touch". He explained everything before, after and while he was doing it. Love him, he's great.

This was first time at Lake Michigan Chiropractic. I’ve done chiropractic since the 80’s and needed to find a new Dr since moving back to the area. Dr. Kirkdorfer was referred to me by my massage therapist. Everyone was very professional and personable. I had a complete exam with x-rays, which hadn’t been done in years. Dr. Kirkdorfer was honest and straightforward with what he could do to help me and made suggestions on how to keep my mobility. I have specific modalities that I wanted used for adjustments and he was great in accommodating my requests. I am very pleased with the care and
