Food and Wine Magazine included Hermit Woods Winery on their 2017 wine guide of "500 Best Wineries in America". Old world character meets new world fruit-each of our award-winning and handcrafted wines is made from a unique combination of locally sourced fruit, honey, and flowers, in some cases wild-foraged.
Our process is devotedly hands-on from vine to bottle, using old-world techniques with the highest level of care and integrity. The result is a wine with rich, complex flavors. All of our wines are vegan (with the exception of honey wines), gluten-free, raw, and mostly organic to Best Management Practices-and an excellent accompaniment to a variety of foods.

Services
Hermit Woods Winery is a small boutique winery located at 72 Main Street, Meredith, NH that developed out of a partnership between Bob Manley, Ken Hardcastle, and Chuck Lawrence. Together, we strive to make wines of the highest quality with the greatest emphasis on locally grown fruit and raw honey.
We are so excited to bring to you Hermit Woods Deli. Enjoy our light menu, including cheese and charcuterie, and seacuterie options, paninis, and other light foods. Dine inside at one of our tables for two to six people or sit on our spacious deck under our umbrellas. Our deck has 12 bar seats available and 10 seats at our high top bar table.
The following wines are available for purchase in our Tasting Room. They are organized by year with the newest wines listed first. Our wines are bottled in 750ml and 375ml bottles, select wines are sold in both sizes and will be noted below. Many of our wines are also available in local wine shops and restaurants, visit where to purchase to find out where our wines are sold.
Hermit Woods Wine Club is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the winery on a more personal level. Membership is free and entitles you and a guest to special member-only privileges that begin immediately with sign-up. A half a case (6-bottles) of winery-selected shipments twice per year, a Spring and Fall allocation including tasting and special winemaker notes.
Join the Hermits for their weekly Facebook Live tasting! We will be broadcasting live on the third Monday of every month. You can pre-order or pick up our wines at our tasting room, and taste alongside the Hermit Woods founders. Ask questions, share your comments, and gain a better understanding of wine appreciation.

Hidden gem in the middle of quaint Meredith, NH Main Street! Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior. Inside is filled with a great winery experience, a beautiful interior (don't miss the second floor gallery space), friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious wines and food! A great way to spend an afternoon. Thanks Randy!

Our first visit this week to Hermit Woods won't be our last. While we didn't have any wine or cider, our lunch was choice was the Turkey Bacon Jam Panini, and it was delicious! Deep River Black Pepper Chips served on the side were an unexpected treat. We ate outside (our preference) and the only seating offered there was on high stool at high tops or an outdoor counter. It's fine for most, but our preference would have been a low table and chairs.

Absolutely love this winery and I've been a wine club member for years. The owners are very kind and the wine club Christmas party is always a blast! The only thing to watch out for is any wines with honeyberries in them. I tried the standalone honeyberry wine a few years back and it had an odd sulfur smell to it and a strange savory after taste. It was on clearance shortly after I tried it. At my last tasting the lady behind the bar told me that it was very hit or miss with customers, so imagine my disappointment to receive a similar wine (The Northern Berry Red I think?) in my recent wine club

My husband and I split a sandwich and a salad and each got a wine flight and we were so delighted! The food there is spectacular - definitely don't just stop in for the winery.
The wine is all fruit wine, so it's not your average wine, but it's excellent. They also offer local beers and cider as well. Everything we tried was great - we ended up leaving with 6 bottles and some cans of wine.
Bonus: They're very dog friendly!
