LouAnne is a veteran of Income Tax preparation with more than three decades of experience. Her career began in 1984 preparing taxes for Alderson Tax. In 1993 she opened LA Tax in Wichita's Delano District and rapidly grew her business, preparing over 1,200 individual tax returns annually. In 2011, LA Tax was re-branded into Phelps Tax and Financial Services, Inc.
Phelps Tax & Finanacial Services offers preparation of personal income tax returns, from the simplest to the most complex. We also prepare other types of returns, including 1041 Trust or Estate Returns. If you have a change in your tax situation coming, let us help you plan so you don't end up surprised at tax time.

If you are a new business owner, looking for someone who has been where you are, who knows the anxiety of starting from scratch and not knowing where to begin, Ryan has been there. Turns out, he is a local business owner outside of this family business as well. I was fortunate to meet his business partner, his mother, who was also full of smiles and great vibes! If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. I found LouAnne and her team while searching for a new tax consultant after having a horrible experience with an independent CPA. She quickly and efficiently got our taxes filed and when questions arose, she directly and openly answered every single one. Not too long after everything was filed, I received a bill from the IRS and not knowing what it was, I went to LouAnne. She quickly went to work and found out that it was fallout from the horrible experience I had the year prior. It was a very stressful time but LouAnne was so quick to help us find

I highly recommend them! When i needed to find someone to take care of my parents tax needs--i did not hesitant to call Louanne. They do a fantastic job and take great care of them -- couldn't ask for better service. Everything is always done correctly and on time. This Is my first time giving a bad review to anyone, typically I move on about my day but this has to be the worst we have been treated as a customer. So long story short we have yet to receive our state taxes we filed 6 months ago. They didn't file all the forms needed to get the return. The 2nd time my wife called asking questions, Louann the owner/ operator got very loud and acted as if she was out of line for wondering what was going on.
