I was a former client of this group. I found them to be smooth-talking, insincere and extremely self-serving, operating primarily in their own economic interests. The well-being of my investment portfolio was secondary to their bottom line. With their advice, I liquidated a large amount of stock to put funds in an oil investment. They claimed the tax penalties related to the stock sales would be offset by the oil investment write-offs. This was not the case and my tax liabilities were horrendous. On another occasion, I agreed to move a large amount (20m) into an investment they tabled and recommended
