Personally, I (Edward Kinum) have been involved with live music for over 35 years. I have emceed for audiences of up to 2000 people. I was the host of a live talk show on WGY which broadcast to over 13 states and Eastern half of Canada. I have done improv comedy for 10 years.
First of all, I chose "Defining Moments" as our company name because we recognize that the primary focus will always be on the unique chemistry that your event inspires.To me, "defining moments" are those fleeting instances that we look back on as the high point of an experience. We are accountable and approachable. Any conversations and agreements that are made, are between you as the client and the owner of the company. Because we are an intimate company, you will deal directly with the people who will provide the service for you. This helps maintain the integrity of our service and ensures that you receive the quality you are expecting.
Our wedding disc jockey packages typically assume 5 hours of service. This includes music before, during and after food and cake is served. If more time is desired, we have an hourly rate of $100 per 1/2 hour. During your wedding, we will provide a wireless microphone for announcements, speeches and toasts from the wedding party.
We will support your event with recorded and or live music and provide master of ceremonies services if needed. We are happy to work with in your budget to provide the service you require in a way that is as stress free as possible.
