Pricing depends on the stylist and the length and density of the hair. Long or thick hair may incur a price increase for color and texture services as additional product may be needed to achieve the desired result. The pricing below is a base price only. If needed, your stylist can give you a price quote before beginning your appointment.
Let the Pura Vida team take the stress out of getting ready, so you and your bridal party can exhale while our highly trained stylists enhance your natural beauty. We focus on making our brides look breathtaking, while still feeling like themselves. Our warm and friendly atmosphere is perfect for any size wedding party, and is located next to Glow Beauty Boutique, which has a team of amazing makeup artist to accommodate all your needs.
If you provide less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged half of the amount of the appointment, for any appointment over one hour. Due to the many great offerings we make to our guests, only one discount can be honored per visit. It is our mission to offer excellent service. If you are unhappy with our service, we will correct the service within one week of your initial appointment.

I absolutely adored Jack and will be coming back as a regular customer. For a full set of highlights, (which I am usually extremely cautious about having previous stripy jobs done at other places) and jack really went above and beyond!! Reasonable pricing (I paid about $170/180 with toning included) and easy parking. (Only thing I might add to be helpful in the future is that the hair cutting cape things might need to be washed slightly more often as they did have a funny smell) Overall really incredible and can't compliment enough!

I've been going to Pura Vida for 2 years now and I've had a great experience every time (with Sam). The Salon is modern with an earthy vibe decor that feels welcoming.
Now I really enjoyed my first appointment with Jack. He was super helpful in helping me choose what style to go for and gave me a wonderful haircut and perfect "baby" highlights. Made me feel very comfortable during the whole time and had a great chat. I'm looking forward to the next time!

Very odd experience. Made an appointment and then had to cancel when my wallet got stolen while traveling. When I booked the appointment their cancellation policy wouldn't open, so I didn't read it (might have been my phones problem). I had made the appointment online so I selected a service that I guess wasn't what I actually needed without knowing, (I'm not a hairdresser..?) and the woman on the phone was extremely weird and almost accusatory of me for not knowing what I needed. Then she demanded I read her a card off so she can charge me $50 for a cancelation fee. Not having

Mackenzie is absolutely amazing! She completely revamped my mom hair- greys, torn out hair, postpartum hair loss. She is so professional and strives to get you the best results. I love my new cut and color. She tells you how to get your desired result. She makes me feel so much more confident in myself. I can't wait to come back and see her

I chose this salon on a whim after over a year of ignoring my hair basically. I am so happy with the cut & keratin treatment by Brittany. I brought in a picture as an example and the cut she gave me is perfect. She didn't try to add on a bunch of unnecessary services but did give me suggestions for future options & treatments when I inquired. The salon is clean & maintaining precautions well (masks, sanitization, distancing) Will be returning soon, thanks Brittany!

I havenāt been to a salon in a really long time and I wanted to cut my really long hair. Needless to say I was so nervous! All the staff there made me feel so comfortable and the women cutting my hair, Maria, was so awesome! She told me step by step what she was doing and made sure I was okay with it before she did it. We had a great conversation while she did my hair and it was overall a great experience and I am loving my new short hair!!

Pura Vida is the best! I recently got a Cut and Balayage with Mackenzie. She had such a bubbly personality, answered all my questions and also pre-empted me on everything she was doing to my hair. I have been to many other salons in the past and hair dressers NEVER explain each step. Mackenzie was so patient and just a joy to talk to. She even asked if I wanted to have warmer or cooler tones on my hair, usually hair dressers just do what they want. Her passion for hair shows! 10/10!

I would have given the salon five stars I went there once to get a full head of highlights and a haircut and a blowout they did a great job I was really happy with my hair since it was my first time at the salon I was not aware that there was a cancellation policy I called to make an appointment to get my highlights done again and I was told that I would have to pay a $50 fee if I wanted to make a new appointment because I had booked one the last time I was there I tried to explain that I was not aware of this policy and I've only been to the salon once I was in New York and I was not notified

I had a cut and balayage with Britney, and the experience was just ok. The cut was fine (though I have long straight hair so it was a basic cut). My issue was with the color. I recently had a baby, and had spent very little time on myself, so I thought a change in hair color would be fun and a nice treat for me. I brought in multiple pictures of what I was looking for. The result was not horrible, but was VERY subtle, like so subtle that no one could tell that I did anything to my hair. Not sure why I spent over $100 to have my hair look exactly the same. The look was nothing like the pictures

I decided last minute I wanted my hair done for my baby shower. I walked in here on a Friday and made an appointment for Saturday morning. The receptionist couldn't have been nicer trying to fit me into the schedule.
I had my hair washed, cut, and styled by Brittany for $40! When she finished with styling I wasn't totally in love and didn't know how to explain what I wanted but she happily played around with it until I loved it!
She got it exactly how I wanted it and I got so many compliments. I wanted very casual curls and she planned them perfectly for my shower which was 3

I've been way past due for a haircut for quite some time now. My hair has honestly been thru hell and back due to multiple dye jobs, from black to blonde and back to black etc etc. and i know that, with time, i'll have healthier hair again. i'm always skeptical about going to new places for haircuts. i sometimes try to put it off for as long as i possibly can but i really needed a haircut, badly.

This salon is exceptional in every way from the receptionist to the stylists. They consult with you, take time to understand what you are looking for in style, color, length etc. The use of clean products is very welcoming and are for sale at the shop. I purchased them 3 months ago and am very pleased . Make a trip to Pura Vida you will love this salon.

I started going to Pura Vida based on yelp reviews and I have not been disappointed! I typically have long layers and I go to Taylor, who does a great job. For my wedding there were 7 of us who had our hair done, 4 with long hair and 3 with short hair and everyone's hair looked great, stayed in place and no one complained (which given 7 women could have happened). For my wedding up do, I met with Taylor for a practice run after picking out some pictures. She is definitely a perfectionist, which I appreciated since it WAS MY WEDDING DAY :) They let us bring in some mimosas for the wedding festivities
