In the spring of 1982, Real Gem Jewelers transitioned from dream to reality for owner Duane Wermerskirchen. Combining his experience in making jewelry and his history of buying gold from other stores, he created a Jewelry store that met every need one could think of.

I had a great experience at real gems. I needed a stone set in a charm, and two pieces repaired. Anna helped find the right charm, and got the work needed for the other two pieces sorted out. The work was done much quicker than I expected. The repairs are flawless and the charm made a very appreciated Christmas present.

Thank you Duane so much for helping us with the perfect gift for our 83 year old mom that has everything. Your design using my father's wedding band and her wedding diamond is so unique people cannot stop giving my mom compliments. I wish I could post a picture so people could see your talents. My cousin would like to come and see you when she gets back from Arizona in the spring. She is so impressed with your design.

I was looking for a custom made mother's ring and thought I would try a small local jewelry store since I wasn't liking what I was seeing online with the big jewelry stores. I walked into Real Gem Jewelers and was immediately welcomed. I met Beth and she was extremely helpful. I showed her a couple of pictures of some ideas for the ring and she showed them to the goldsmith who was able to make the ring in the price range I felt comfortable with. They made a beautiful ring that I will treasure always. I definitely recommend them!

I feel it's my duty as a consumer to warn others about this store. I brought in my only Swiss watch, a Frédérique Constant, that needed a new battery. The lady on the phone told me that "for repairs" they would send my watch to their "watch person", but that anyone at the store could take care of a simple battery replacement. That should have been a red flag, but I decided to give them a try.
The lady finished changing the battery quickly, I paid the fee and left. When I got home I noticed that the back of my watch was badly scratched!
