They called Friday afternoon to say they would arrive at 7:30 Monday and be done by 4:30. I could have set my watch by them. They are all true pros. They all know their jobs and immediately got to work. Excellent trimming. Excellent cleanup. They followed directions quickly and exactly. Money well spent.

This is THE ONLY tree service I will ever use. The communication is clear, concise and thorough! They provide superior service at a decent price.
When I discussed what I wanted done, I was specific as too what exactly how I wanted it and they came through with exactly that!
Matt was my contact person who confirmed what I had discussed over the phone with the scheduling person in the office. He knew exactly what I wanted.
Today Chris and Luis joined Matt's team. Chris was very friendly double checking throughout the job as it was being done

We had four trees trimmed including two that were hanging over the pool. They crew did a great job pruning and shaping the trees while keeping the pool clean. They arrived on time, very professional, considerate and got right to work. In and out in four hours and when they left, the area was so clean that you didn't know they had been here.
This is a family owned company with very competitive rates. A great value. We have trimmed our trees every year for the last 30 years. We will continue doing so with Rod's Tree Service.

We had Rod's Tree service come yesterday to cut a lot of our eucalyptus trees and a few others.
The guys did a really great job. It was very complicated as I have many potted plants below the trees that needed to be moved, I have a lot of staghorn ferns under the trees, and many other things that needed to be avoided. They cut the trees way back as I requested and did not damage any of my other plants.
They also cleaned up the job quite well.
Nice guys working for this company, I will definitely hire them for all of our tree trimming needs.

When they trimmed our palm trees, the palm fronds fell on our roof and broke 40 tiles. It cost us $1500 to repair the tiles. Rod's tree service denied they did broke our tiles but it was very evident that all the broken tiles were under the palm trees. The roof was fully repaired around two years ago (not twenty as the owner first stated) and as far as we know, no one has been on the roof. I do not believe that this action was intentional but I know it is very difficult to tree very tall palm trees and accidents can happen.

What a great service..very prompt, very reasonable pricing, super professional crew members, neat, wonderful clean up. I couldn't ask for more. The City of San Clemente lost a great contractor when they didn't keep this service on the payroll. The Garcia family are all winners.

The trees on my property badly needed shaping and pruning. I was hesitant (as was my landlord) because a previous crew had butchered the trees. Rod's Tree Service did an excellent job, and it's even more evident as the trees have filled out over the past few months. They were courteous, showed up on time, they stuck with their quote, and made an effort to not disturb any nesting birds in the trees.

Had several plants/trees removed today, mostly for an upcoming plumbing fix. These guys are the BEST. They were courteous and respectful. I was totally sad and traumatized that my beloved sago palms had to be killed to replace pipes. They were kind and generous. If you are looking to support local family owned businesses, look no further. Matt and his team did an amazing job. Matt was very knowledgeable of our landscape and provided good recommendations. 8-10 guys showed up on time and did not mess around. The trimmed 4 larger trees, 3 queen palms and removed some smaller to mid size trees/bushes. It took them 3 hours and they did a fantastic job cleaning up. We will definitely using Rod's Tree Service going forward for future projects.

I'm so impressed with Rods Tree Service! I had an Emergency early this morning and Rick, Rods grandson was so professional and empathetic to my situation. He along with his team came out within 20 minutes. They cleared my huge tree which was blocking my entire neighborhoods main access street within 30 minutes!! They were very kind, neat and compassionate!! I loved them!! I highly recommend them!!
